The thing is, that "missing scene" in the lost world, isn't actually missing, it never existed. that was a rumor fans online have spread around based on a supposed piece of trivia on the lost world's imdb trivia page. That trivia was a misinterpretation based on the fact that in the jurassic park book, the entire plot for grant and the kids is the kids saw raptors hopping on the boat just before it left so they have to get back to the visitor's center so they can warn the boat before it reaches the mainland. that plot line was a bit that was removed from the jp movie. it never existed in any form in the lost world. none of the versions of the script contains any mention of that, infact the original version of the script didn't have the boat, or the mainland stuff AT ALL. it was just an extended version of them running from the raptors through the factory town. it ends with them geting attacked by pteranodons as they try to get on the helicopter.

Carchar sounds a little silly as a shortened name, but its full name is a mouthful: Carcharodontosaurus. It's actually kind of a cool name, since it's named after the great white shark's genus, Carcharodon, so the name sort of means shark lizard (although Carcharodon itself means jagged/sharp tooth). Also, those proportions between Suchomimus and Spinosaurus are completely off. Spinosaurus should be bigger, but it should also be on all fours (not that they knew that when this game or JP 3 came out).

There are animals that smack with their tails. The thresher shark has a tail fin (on the end of its regular tail) that is as long as it is. It uses the tail to smack small fish in a bitch slap like motion. It attacks those schools of tiny fish, and the slap lets it take out three or more fish at once (while a normal shark using just its mouth would be lucky to get one with a lot of effort) Admittedly, that slap has the same mantis shrimp thing of 'hitting you with the pressure' thing since it is in water. But really-when your tail is a huge part of your locomotion, it is going to be strong enough to do SOMETHING a lot of the time.
Unfortunately, the cool attraction at Universal where you got to meet a Triceratops was closed down not long after the parks opening. It was really great though.

Maybe as you unlock characterd you get little bios that tell you what time that certain dino lived, what it ate, and some other little tidbits. Certain ones like the T-Rex or Allosaurus could have alternate skins of famous dino skeletons of them, like Big Al or Suzy. There could even be joke characters like Compsegnathus or other little chicken sized dinosaurs. Oh, and it'd have to be gory. Like, when you win a fight and you're playing as a carnivore, you eat the opponent with viscera and blood flying everywhere and stuff.
