I’m surprised to hear Colby get excited about someone being illegally cross checked with a stick in the face. Imagine if it was the other way around?? Mcdavid draws a lot of penalties because he’s fast as hell so a slash or trip is going to happen more times over. Every player should be protected not just the “ best player in the world”. That’s an amazing trade for the Canucks. Get 97 suspended and lose a good for nothing meat head in Meyers. Great trade for the Canucks and I can see the rest of the league doing this with 97. Every team knows for certain that the refs hate 97 and would love to see him and every other star player permanently injured and out of the league. If I’m an opponent slew foot and mug 97 away. The refs love it.
A) McDavid not only draws more penalties than most other players in the league but also gets away with a ton of penalties. He literally got away with a high stick earlier in this same game. B) The person to blame for the fact that McDavid gets picked on is himself. You don't see very many instances of people pulling stunts like that with Nathan MacKinnon. You know why? Because if you go to try and lay a hit on him you might just be the one that ends up on your ass. He's got that dogg in him. If McDavid is tired of people doing that then he needs to toughen up and be stronger on his skates.
@@rikisingh4625 Im curios how these refs feel about stan bowman being in the league again. Unacceptable hes anywhere near an NHL team. If i was an oiler player i would have requested a trade. They are playing for a guy who thinks SA is ok. I am one of those that will not let this go, and wish everything bad for the oilers. Not serious injury or anything like that, but everything else is music to my ears, screw this team.
