    You are just the best teacher ~ so calm and positive while assuring your students that they can be successful! Bravo! Love the fpp Christmas tree and am incorporating them into little "mug rugs" to give as Christmas gifts this year. Would love more fpp videos. Cheers!

    Lovely. Especially liked the "with confidence" instruction. You may not be a professional pattern maker, but this is cute, and your tutorial video so very clearly done. Thank you for a lovely instructional time in paper piecing for the holidays.

    Amanda!! This is sooo adorbs, you are so awesome!!! I need to see what you have been up to this Christmas!! I made 2 of these for my boss and her hubby and did the tree in 2 different greens and cut the shapes wonky! They are sooo cute and festive!! I'm also planning on making some for a fund raiser called DOVE for battered women and will also be gifting a few for the assisted living housing where my in-laws live. They will be prizes for BINGO(an American game). I do hope you make more foundation paper pieced blocks!! Thanks again!! Happy Holidays and love! 2018 😍👼⛄️⛄️❄️

    this was the most easiest and very well explained on how to paper piece. how can I decide on which piece to do first if I drew out my own design?

    I am so glad I found your videos! You are such a great teacher. Have you authored a book yet? I really love your eye for fabrics and think a book filled with your ideas would be so brilliant! I know you posted this video for last year's Christmas, but I'll wish you a Happy Christmas this year! (And a dazzling 2016 and beyond!)

      No, I haven't written a book - but I would love very much to do so one day!
      I hope you had a lovely Christmas too and have a wonderful year ahead! x

    Another great video - you make it look so easy - I love the idea of the 'perforating tool' to help with the folding etc and then when it's time to rip it off wheeeeeeeee.... :p
    ...now to catch up with your other vid's :)

      ***** Thanks!!
      Agreed! I love using the tracing wheel! It saves so much time and trouble.
      My favourite bit will always be ripping the paper away at the end. Oh, the tremendous satisfaction!! :D

    Can you do a quilting for beginners that talks all about the basics?

    • @AmandaRolfe
      @AmandaRolfe  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Galina Smith Yes! I can definitely do something like that. I'll add it to the list of video ideas I have for next year!
      Earlier this year I made a video called 'Essential Tools for the Beginner Quilter' - perhaps that might help you out in the mean time: th-cam.com/video/eQpCTWoH7KA/w-d-xo.html

    Do you use special paper or can copy paper work? And do you have to use special glue or will any water soluble glue stick work. I'm so excited to start this tomorrow. You do such an awesome job, love your videos. Thank you

    • @AmandaRolfe
      @AmandaRolfe  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just use normal printer paper - nothing special. And yes, just use a normal type of glue stick - the paper won't be on the fabric for very long anyway. :)
