Let's all remember that 1v1's dont mean you deserve a higher rank, if you are better than the rank you currently have, there may be some fundamental understandings of how apex plays, and the way that teamfights are played. You can win all your 1v1's but if you push every single fight in a BR you're going to get ego'd

Plat player was console keep that in mind I’ve seen my friends console lobbies they’re actually borderline bot lobbies when he queues in pc lobbies he literally gets 0 damage in 1-2 fights everyone knows console is for mediocre and casual players
@@spedmonie416it really depends. As someone who has played both PC and Console lobbies, it’s luck based where you land. I’ve had console lobbies way more difficult than many PC lobbies and vice versa.

s17 gold is like Rookie 3 and he is controller so he would be like Rookie 10, you meet him if you ever get bot lobby in your game 👌🏻
I only got to gold in S17 but I can compete well in high diamond lobbies. (Got my first damage badge against a few animated masters back in S14) Sometimes gold just means someone doesn’t grind as much. In this case it’s clearly someone who should be gold ratting to be higher.
I noticed something with all the players up to platinum. The bronze player won those fights because his general FPS/mechanical skills were superior. The lack of general FPS/mechanical skills in all the players he went up against until platinum was actually quite surprising. It really shows how much more important map knowledge is compared to those in the battle royale gamemode. I am thinking that this is the real reason that he is bronze.

In S19 i think you can queue in to diamonds. I got teammates who was diamond 1 and diamond 2 and i was bronze and now im silver 4.... so often i got enemies whos last season masters with a master bannerframe... maybe this is the reason he is bronze because he queued up against masters. I experienced it too much :(

to fully see if this person is worth diamond you have to make them fight in ranked against diamond players.

I think this video actually proves to an extent that 1v1s don't necessarily reflect rank, during the 1v1s it showed that cheese's awareness was severely lacking. He was constantly looking the at the wrong angles based off of the audio queues that were happening. (Maybe because he actually tries to anchor in ranked and doesn't really have to try and get entry frags) But then in the 3v3's it seemed like his awareness spiked. I'm assuming the teams were in coms and actively communicating.
He played well when he was confident in his 1v1. The Plat player was a little iffy imo as well
he looks like someone who was skilled in another fps game and just has some fundamentals to learn in apex
i dont think so i reckon he just has good aim because in other fps games cover and 50-50 rule as well as pushing when there was some entry damage are all things that are used in fps games other than apex and he does not use any of these so i think that he just has good aim and is cocky.

Look, I've tried to solo queue grind in ranked and its a nightmare. I couldn't get higher than plat 2. It just really is crap shoot in whether you get teammates who are competent and know what they're doing, or teammates who are just gonna W key straight into every fight, get themselves killed, then spam ping while you're trying to clean up their mess.
Exactly and my friends don't play apex or stopped playing apex so I'm hard stuck Plat 1 but I joined a club who plays ranked and is actually decent
honestly i wanna do one of these since i am currently stuck in silver, my two main people i play ranked with just make the worst choices

If you're stuck in bronze, then you're doing something wrong. Even when I first started playing in s12, I couldn't stay in bronze if I wanted. Unless you're getting insanely unlucky with your teammates, ive never been bronze for more than a few days, regardless of if I was playing good or not.
in s19 it's normal tho if you still stuck in bronze.

If this guy deserved any rank, it's plat at best but most likely gold. We weren't hearing the comms of his teammates but seeing how at least one of them knows what they are doing, he is probably making the callouts. Players who are iffy, such as this guy, can easily be told "Go do this" and if the guy making that call is smart like the 50k lifeline main, then it's probably going to be an easy kill.
So how does he have level 100 on his flatline if he is only level 99.. 🧐
Because they’re two different level systems. I only play about 6-8 hours a week and I never use the Havoc unless I have to and I have that weapon to around lvl 40. If he primarily uses a Flatline it would easily take less than a month with consistent play to get it to level 100.

You should try and compare skill levels of different regions for each rank. Like you could see what NA bronze versus Japanese Bronze are like. Or compare like a Japanese bronze to a NA Diamond. Just a thought.

Ranked makes no sense now. Bots can be pred cuz they win against other bots and good players get stuck cuz they are only in matches against other good players

Once you get past plat the skill gap is there. Same with D1 to master and so on. There are a few things holding him back, such as running with your gun out and not moving up off dmg. I say he's a plat player

I have been a life line main since season 1 up to now and I only got as far as Gold 4 because I don't have a good team it's just a bunch of randoms and campers who don't pick up my banner
Rank doesn’t even matter at this point cus the mmr system just matches you with people that have similar skill with you instead of the actual rank you are in so you can be fighting masters in bronze or silver as long as your skill match them and I’ve been fighting diamond and masters in my bronze lobby but it’s not as bad as last season since kills and assists actually give you decent lp this season I’ve been ranking up smoothly but ye he deserves the diamond rank
I'm stuck in bronze as well I only solo q I have been diamond 2 times season 15 and 11 and because of promotionals I I'm having a hard time ranking up
People think this guy is faking his rank, but there’s so many small mistakes that he’s making that it would be hard to fake being incompetent.
So rarely do I meet diamond players that do over 100 damage with an r9 and take 25 damage that stop and pop a health drone, while having full health, instead of pushing off that damage. And that’s usually in 1v2 or 1v3 scenarios. Not pushing off that damage in a 1v1 alone proves plat at the very best. Not to mention poor movement and game awareness to begin with. If this was in pc diamond lobbies I’d be thrilled.

he was pretty good in his team fights and 1v1’s up to plat. But they’ll never have that much time to team fight in an actual game, especially in diamond, they’ll get thirded. So his shooting and mechanical skill may be around a high plat or low diamond level but that’s just a small piece of the pie needed to actually be a diamond player. If he gets a 3 stack going he’d definitely fair better and I could see him making plat very easily
