People really tried to explain how buffing the buddy was bad with 0 real base for it. Chat is wild....
I really got a laugh from the person that said buffing the buddy gave diminishing returns. Like bro, it's a percentage based buff, how tf is that diminishing?

@@billybegood466 You forget the added damage. Simple napkin math: it starts with 3. First use is for example (3+6)*1,5=13. So it goes from 3 => 13 with is an increase of 433%. Later it goes (40+6)*1,5=69, witch is only 170% so its less. Now you could say 10 < 29 but this is the internet. We necver think things through.
@@MNaliasyour math looks good on paper but it is not practical. It scaling with tavern tier and later being golden drastically changes your percentages. Think of the first one being more like (3+3)*1.5=9 and later becoming (40+6)*2=92. Regardless of formulas, this specific match it was always better to invest in the buddy vs random cards that wouldn't scale.

had a game of inge duo'd with btc. kept swapping his buddy ended with 3 golden serenaders and 2 golden sous chefs. the stats got insane
Probably one in a thousand for a game like that. I managed to steal etc and thorim buddies for free tier 7 cards, while I had a thorim teammate.
Buddies patch is wild.
What I love about the buddy meta is that it gives players new builds and creative options to an otherwise old and boring builds.
Chat needs to take a class in finance. "You lose stats buffing the buddy instead of another minion" bruh, ever heard of investments?

I just had a game a few hours ago with Inge where I was able to buff the buddy up to over 100 attack and health while I was already building undead with a KT on board...Once I found a Nightbane; I knew I was getting first place.
Buddy + Myrmidon + Shellemental is just crazy scaling

This isn't even the worst OP hero/buddy combo. Have you tried Alexstrasza? I mean... you can just faceroll your keyboard and still win.
You need to do this in duos and get ETC partner who sends you cookie's buddy.
Now use it with beatboxer and nagnetics

"Whenever theres a new patch i just crush everybody..." that has actually been true except when spells started. I personally think thats because the spells made the game more mid ranged which makes late game builds less reliable.
It is also an undead card, you know, the type that can gets perament damage bonuses as a type from several cards.
Yeah but it takes to long to scale and if you scale the dmg for undeads that high anyways more dmg is not that important
What I did is get the buddy fast, buff it as soon as possible, get the golden one really fast, bring it up to about 100/100 and then either start buffing other cards or buff it further if your lobbs scales crazy

Hi Kripp I haven’t watched in probably 5 years now but I came back because I had an epiphany. I have no idea what the meta is or how the game is going these days but I’m glad to still see ya on the grind!
For those wondering, I believe the wording is the reason why rivendare and brann differ, bran says they trigger twice, rivendare say trigger an extra time
They changed baron/Titus so it would trigger an extra time with extra copies on board.
They chose to do so with Baron but not with bran. That is what kripp was reffering to.

The name of this hero is pronounced 'ING (as in thinking, planning, etc.) - UH' (sounding like the 'U' in punch). It's a Dutch/German name, and I know a couple of girls with this name, and they would not be happy if I called them 'indzj' or however Kripp says it. So again, two syllables 'ING-uh', emphasis on 'ING', followed by 'uh'.
