I don't think anyone would realistically pass The Hunter Exam with Killua or Hisoka running around, especially Killua. Hisoka's a bastard but he at least was willing to mostly follow the rules. Killua seems more likely to kill unprovoked in the first exam (just ask Bodoro). By the time he re-takes the exam, he screws over everyone else before they even get a chance to fight their opponents.
@@dansmith1661 actually, he did that because he wanted to finish the exam early because he needed to be back at Greed Island or else he would be disqualified in the game. If he spared some participant, there's a chance that there would be a phase 2 which will lengthen the exam time.
I still think it's massively funny that the hunter exams are only this rough because netero wants to breed strong people that can be a challenge to him in a fight. There is absolutely no reason for ever hunter to be capable of running 80 km as the first test.
The mindset of must succeed or I'm a failure that might as well kick the bucket has been something that was drilled into me for a while. No wonder I am self destructive when it comes to trying not to fail and leads to more problems.
