    Wondering if you could clarify; In my Martensen image critique textbook it states “when a pneumectomy is indicated, do not select the AEC chamber that is positioned beneath the removed lung or saturation of the opposite lung may be present” however shouldn’t the AEC cell get the radiation faster due to the decreased density of having no lung tissue, therefore cutting the exposure time shorter causing the exposure to be underexposed ? (Saturation means darker image correct?)

      Hey Danielle, I think you might enjoy a book I've recommended to my students. It's called Time, Distance, and Shielding. It's a medical thriller with an x-ray tech as the hero.
