  • @jormantag
    @jormantag ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Siva, will you have any updated video on how to load an excel file in xls or xlsx format through a button, for example, using the standard AddAttachment function, to later load the data to the DB, or if you know any other way to do it, thank you.

    Hi Siva, Can you please tell how to simply transfer data from one table another by Component interface and app engine.

    • @PeopleSoftChannel
      @PeopleSoftChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gudu, I thought I replied to your query. You can follow the same process instead of reading data from the page you can read data from a table in App Engine using DoSelect action and %Select and write logic should be your target page like shown in the video. I know I am not very clear I hope at least you got some idea. - Thanks Siva

    In my scenario I have a work record field in level 0 and I want to initiate the field change code of that field thru Component interface, can u pls tell how this can be done

    • @PeopleSoftChannel
      @PeopleSoftChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rajlaxmi, Thank you for posting your question. To be honest, I am not very clear about your question. You just have derived record fields on your page, it sounds like a review page. Normally we use CI to populate data into PeopleSoft App. Thanks, Siva

    Nice work ,one question if I have secondary page on my component than the assignment step will be the same as in video (17:45min in video)? And I am having 5 rows that I have to load to my component through CI but only 1 row (that is the last row) is getting loaded.

    • @PeopleSoftChannel
      @PeopleSoftChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Saksham, Thank you for reaching out. As far as I know the secondary page processing is similar to standard page processing. Ideally when you use insertitem for each collection it should insert each row in the rowset of the component. I am not exactly sure what would have happened. Maybe taking trace would help. I am sorry, I am of little help in your case. Thanks, Siva Koya
