And as we all know, this was for a reason....But if you really have been in the area, where they intend to make us believe "Bielefeld" should be, you know, that you were pretty close to the entrance to Atlantis?

I forgot about the nice part of Bielefeld. So, thanks for reminding me. And it seems they modernized a bit more.
In my memory it was just kinda like a dark Ruhrpott city. But good enough for shopping if you look for something "extra".
But, whilst in the area, I really recommend to visit Detmold, enjoy it's historical city center, maybe spend a bit time in the outdoor museum and exploring the Externsteine. And in case you have some more time to spend, you might be interested in the remains of the Falkenburg.

Bis zur der Gegend wo das angebliche Bielefeld existieren soll, sind es gerade einmal 80 km von meinem Wohnort. Wie es schon in einer Wilsberg Folge gezeigt wurde, enden die Landstraßen in Richtung Bielefeld,...ins nichts.
Ja, und die Autobahn A33. War zumindest für sehr laaaange Zeit so. Und nu führt sie einfach mal schnell dran vorbei.
Ja, und als mein Zug dort mal gehalten hat, habe ich gerade noch sehen können, wie die die Bahnhofskullisse gleich nach der Abfahrt abgebaut haben.

The best part of Bielefeld is their zoo. It is free of charge and lies in a side valley surrounded by forest.
They only show animals that live in Germany in the wild (or have lived there in the past), so it is not particularly big, but the enclosures are very spacious and well done.
Bielefeld is a regional centre
for shopping and nightlife
people come for other towns nearby
to shop and go out.
We, I am a Bielefelder BTW,
also support a football team,
an orchestra, an opera house
and several theatres.

The Sparrenburg, you couldn't remember the name,
was where the local lords lived who controlled

Its real 100 percent,I lived there for 5 years,off heeper strasse,I usedto go to AJZ,a place where all the best bands play that's also on heeper strasse,I used to work in the novotel on Johannesburg strasse,its gone now and another hotel is there,I also worked in al dente the restaurant on jahnplatz and I made loads of german friends from bielefeld,I also worked in Christos griekische restaurant for a few months and GAB lol gebraucht artikel Bose,I ate food often in an Indian restaurant called the kohinoor,I heardthat it's not there any more,I also went to to learn german in a school that was in a park nicht zu weit von jahnplatz, I forgetthe name of the school,this was around 1998
