When you sell to a pawn shop they have to RESELL it. So they have to make a profit. So if it's worth $700 then they're not going to pay you $700. You want the full price go sell it online.

The reason that unopened popular 80s toys are worth any money is because they are scarce. If more people bought these toys and never opened them then they would be worth much less because more supply would be available. Prices exist because scarcity exists and all prices are derived from supply versus demand.
Crazy to imagine 25 years ago, you could probably buy a He-Man still in the package at a flea market or a yard sale for 5 to 10 dollars...and the package would be in much better shape, commanding thousands in today's market.
I still have all of my HE MAN toys from a kid. I also have Greyskull 2 Snake Mountains The Palace and The Hordac Castle. Along with many vehicles this is a huge collection. I recently got 2 boxes of He Man stuff at a yard sale for 25 bucks. When my kids leave home I'm gonna set them all up in a battle scene. This brings back memories.

Do not go to a pawn shop to sell things!!! I done research and almost all of them give you around $25 dollars on the $100! i sold a brand new flat screen worth 600 and only got 100 for it! Pawn shops are trash
Televisions are also one of those items they don't really want any more of anyway. You generally get an extra small amount for TVs, power/hand tools and car audio stuff. Jewelry and guns are things that all shops always want. They just give you the "normal" rip off amount for those things. LOL
that is an 8 back but not a first edition, those would have a mini comic with red burst and white text that read "FREE illustrated book". In mint condition these could go for thousands.
For sure buddy, mint 8 backs with those mini comics are the very first editions, I recommend you do a search on eBay for sold he-man 8 backs. With 5 of those you can probably buy a new car :D just don't expose them all at once and take your time to sell them.

Beautiful toy! Worth a grand all day. The fact it's still sealed from the factory, definitely it's worth a grand without a doubt. Its extremely rare to have a toy that old and still be in the box.
