Bought mine a few hours ago straight from China. Gonna be a long wait but the price was right. I am very happy she is ultra rare. Everywhere I checked besides Ebay was sold out.
@@GoonieLord Thats the best place to buy in my opinion. And I'm happy you managed to get your hands on one. The play toys version was pretty close. But I prefer this. Congrats!
I think this is really one of the best! But it's really something different from what we usually collect. Thank you! The amount of waifus is too enormous right now, but here's to wishing you a really great 2025!
Love that you demonstrated her Stretching pose, it's the one pose I wanted to capture in! I was also afraid of messing around with the Berat because of her hair, not trying to mess it up lol awesome video man, definitely love the poses you got her in for us.
I finally got to get the beret to stay at the side, just pinch it for 30 mins, and it looked really fantastic! And I love that you are taking care of your figures, there was a shop I went to, the guy demonstrated the figure by abusing it, to show me it was durable. It is definitely very durable!
Waiting for the day for someone to make something seamless and lifelike that's not silicone, is durable enough and can hold poses without damage. The fact that silicone punctures so easily (aside from the price) is the only thing that's holding me back from ever purchasing a figure like this. This could be the absolute peak of action figures IMO, and we're close to it. 🍿
So you like lifelike too. Man, I hope that day will come. I think it will be soon, since Cammy is made of "medical grade" silicone. It really feels different from other figures. Haha. You encouraged me to feel hopeful!
OMG, that is an action figure!! At first, I thought it was a solid, non-moveable scale figure. It is so impressive to see the joint parts hidden inside. I never knew there could be such a setting. i must say, this figure sure looked very realistic in the details. her face, her eyes, and her muscles are all bringing this thing come to life. For the part, your mom with someone to value your collections. I can imagine the sight. My mom's reaction is acting pretty calm when i started my waifu collect, one reason is because all of those are pretty cheap and second is because the amount is still under 10.
This is the first 1/6 silicone figure I got and boy was she worth it. The proportions are perfect and the face is the best Cammy I've seen on the market. I find it hard to adjust her eyes though. Frankly after seeing reports of tears, I'm too scared to actually move her much. For crazy poses, that's the cheap Jada version to do those. News about the SF6 version got me excited too, though I prefer the Play Toys version. Would you be interested to get any between those two?
@@TamerChris I find just using force on her eyes will move it and it will have minimal damage because the head material doesn't stretch too much. But congratulations for getting such a great piece. Sometimes, the studio over promises and undér delivers. For the Play Toy version, we have yet to see any SF release. But I think it boils down to whether you like the hard sculpted hair from play toys, or the real hair. Personally I prefer the Starman version because till date, they make pretty headsculpts. Seeing how they actually blew up in popularity, it's hard to buy after seeing a review unless you preorder. I've got all the versions on pre order. And will feature them in time to come, but Id say for now, you can only gamble or risk not getting one. Oh I forgot, just leave her in the neutral pose, it might not cause tears, but it will definitely cause a dent like mine. I haven't even moved it for longer than 15 mins, and it already caused a permanent dent.
@@oricebucket After the initial movement, I got the eyes moving but it's hard to keep them looking in the same direction. Maybe I'd get used to it soon. I believe Play Toys has released a Chun Li, and Cammy (classic) seemed to be delayed (supposed to be Q2/3 2024). In terms of accuracy, Star Man is better too (like the rolled up sleeves on the left arm of SF6 Cammy). Maybe I just prefer the face on Play Toys a bit more for the SF6. I'll see though, buying one is already expensive enough so I won't be getting both.
@@TamerChris Yea, they are so delayed, I think they might be making amendments after seeing the stuff Starman put out. I agree on the face, they really made it look better. And I agree with buying just one, it makes your place less cluttered and I feel I made some bad decisions on my collecting habits and wouldn't want others to be spending unnecessary money. Enjoy your Starman!
ty sir. I HAVE her for 3 weeks. My First silicon figure and I was so scared to move and pose her man. I try to do my research and advice on how to handle these high quality figures as I am afraid of making permanent creases or damage. i don't know what to do ahaha but by watching you I gain a bit of confidence.
Haha, please just don't do anything with it, and leave her in a very neutral position. I have many silicon figures broken and torn, in fact around 4. It's so expensive, you should just take a few pictures you want with certain pose and return her to the neutral position. Moreover, this body is not on sale, so you can't replace it. Take great care of it!
I've never had a figure like this, so I wanna ask, how careful do you need to be with her to avoid damage/is there a way to preserve the material? And btw is it safe to order her from Aliexpress or could it be bootleg?
@@x_y0845 Hi! Basically we did a stress test (not on this, but other silicone 1/6). We bent it excessively, dropped it from 2 meters, the metal skeleton inside remains intact. Only the wrist joint came off sometimes. It's a ball and socket joint. But it is easy to use a plier to tighten it again. Skin wise, it excretes silicone oil, I believe this stays good by luck. Some of the figures excretes too much oil and become sticky. But lately they have been using "platinum silicone" and it feels less prone to decomposing. I have a figure staying good for around 10 years already. Also. What you really need to know is it cant be posed. You can take pictures for a short while with dynamic poses. But you shouldn't let a pose stay for a long time. Example, a day. Permanent creases will form. It will even tear and break. I find weather to not be a problem even though people think it is. AliExpress is a very good place to shop because the figures come from their country. It's quite difficult to create bootlegs because the price of the figure is already pretty low. It's hard to go lower. Till late, there's no bootlegs of silicone figures. I think you need to buy from stores that already have reviews. They are selling quite fast on the platform. I hope you get one!
@@oricebucket if the body is platinum silicone, it should not be leaking "oil". Its possible that's leftover oil residue from when it was pulled directly from the mold and not thoroughly cleaned and properly powered.
@@anthonyshillingford848 The manufacturer states it's medical grade silicone. But I have no idea about the composition of the silicone. The only way to test it is by feeling it. Silicone is harder than TPE. I have a half size TPE doll and this definitely feels harder. I have no doubt it's silicone. Just wondering if it's medical grade. It could be because it felt better than it's predecessors.
I didn't realize till you mention it, that it has really started to gain popularity and it's difficult to find. I pre-ordered mine from my usual vendor on the Chinese ecommerce site, Taobao. I just checked it is still available on very few listings and is still selling at the retail price.
It's great! Here at the channel, we love our friends a lot! The outfit comes off, however, due to chinese regulations, unfortunately, at the bottom, it is just a flat smooth surface. There's no sculpting. There used to be in the past, but the changed that. Also, I couldn't remove the top because I was rushing to work, the melons don't have nips either, it's a round sphere. I think you will like this figure nonetheless!
It’s a struggle getting the outfit off, especially if you’re like me and you’re afraid of damaging the skin😅 It comes off, but it’s obviously not MEANT to come off. I bought her with the intention of customizing the head and clothing and turning her into one of my own characters. So when the alternate clothing pieces arrive, I’m PROBABLY gonna have to carefully cut the original outfit off. That’s how tight it is on her.
watchout her red handcraft will crack her skin near her elbow
Thanks! I think people should know about this, I already made several dents on my figure. Sad :(
Very realistic and very pretty.
It is definitely realistic and pretty, but too many figures make the room feel very creepy too!
