I never know how I feel about video game sequels. I always feel like I never want them, because I love replaying games and I always get scared that when the sequel comes out I'll never want to play the original again. I have the same fear with breath of the wild 2

To be honest, when I saw Rabbids (the annoying Minions of video games) with Mario, I had my doubts, but witnessing Mario in a turn based tactical RPG like Fire Emblem and XCOM completely changed my view for this game. This makes five games to convince me to get a Switch.

They chose Mario to have a crossover with the Minions of video games over Link, the Batman to Mario's Superman. They chose the crazy rabbits over Sonic. Mario's biggest rival and something that is guaranteed to make millions. They chose them over Mega Man. The other major mascot in the NES/SNES era.

This game is an underrated treasure.
Great gameplay, perfectly executed humor (AKA, every Rabbid Peach scene), BEEP-O FRIGGIN SWEARS, it’s just an overall joy.

Those rare moments when Princess peach actually does her job at protecting her kingdom are just amazing. On that note, I absolutely love how Rabbid Peach does Princess Peach's job better, than the actual princess peach XD

@@Muhammad-ql9sf I found her to not be as good of a healer from what I remember, not to mention her being able to heal requires her to stay near the team, but her weapon requires her to get close to the opponents to deal decent damage, aka the exact opposite of what she needs to do to heal. And her healing's only a small fraction of everyone's total HP at a time, whereas rabbid peach is practically full health (albeit with cooldown). Rabbid Peach is just easier to work with in most cases
Two things I love about Ubisoft working on Mario games:
1 - They do reflect Nintendo's perspective on Mario - that he is not cute or was never intended to be childish, but he and his franchise is *cool.* Mario is cool and this trailer really reflects that.
2 - Peach is not depicted as a "femme fatale" like other spin-offs do. That's disgustingly inaccurate for the character. But in this one trailer, Peach is shown as a strong, decisive yet soft girl. I like it when developers respect a character's original vision. Mario Strikers kinda take it too far, while I think they are good games. But they kinda exaggerate while it somehow works.
Conclusion: Ubisoft deserves another Mario game. They did everything right so I'd say they are reliable. It's crazy when you think about it but the developers of Assassin's Creed made an *awesome* Mario game.

This game was the definition of something we didn't want, but never knew we needed.
But even still, I absolutely love this game and it’s sequel, they both rank as my second favorite Mario game of all time, only behind Super Mario Bros. 3.

What do you mean they can't crossover Mario and Sonic? They do it every two years and have done so for a long time. We are due for a new one next year during the winter.
I wasn't referring to that because Nintendo and Sega don't really consider it a real crossover.
When asked if they'll make a non-olympic Mario+Sonic game, Nintendo and Sega said they can't figure out a world where they fit together.

When I first got this game, I was disappointed. I wanted super Mario Odyssey. But I tried it, and I loved it so much.
This game is absolutely amazing! At first, when I took a look at it, it looked like a silly crossover. Mario and Rabbids? Huh. What's next? Avengers and Sonic? But yet again, sometimes some variety can be good. So I tried it out. And let me just say, it was an obsession at first sight. Just... wow! I'm speechless!

I love the boss battles. They're all unique, unlike most Mario games. Mario games are usually just the Koopalings or, well, Bowser! Duh! In Mario + Rabbids, you can fight bosses like Pirabbid Plant, Rabbid Kong, and Phantom. Those 3 are my favorite! Although Phantom was pretty annoying to deal with...
I love Ancient Gardens too! When you progress through the world, the terrain changes. It makes the game very refreshing. I think they were all pretty cool terrains as well.
Anyway, I don't have anything else to say other than it's a great game, and the 60 dollars are worth it. Good job Ubisoft.

playing this game right now. lol. its not that bad to be honest. Never knew I be into a game thats not all about Mario but hes in it with the Rabbids. Which makes it even more curious. Would love a Crash Bandicoot and Mario cross over. Not sure if others would find that entertaining.

Because some games that people thought wouldn't be fun after seeing them in trailers end up liking them in the end after the release and when they get it. And the opposite happens to some games as well. For example; people thought super mario 3D world would be great, but they end up not liking it mainly because it's a souless game.

Finally beat the game earlier today, and it was a damn good time. Now to find every chest and complete every challenge to fully upgrade everyone.
1:12 and now we have the appearance of the majestic peach actually defending herself
I love how in this game the Mario character's personalities really shine, and most of them show a lot of emotion, except for Yoshi and Luigi, but we might see more of their personality in the full game.
Generic Name I've seen a bit of Luigi and he seems to have quite a bit of personality I still haven't seen any of Yoshi

- SMRPG (the last addition to the group, over the half of the game)
