Now that makes me wonder...... How would they move? Is they just gonna walk using robot mode (if the components are seperate robots) or is it just somehow moves while being engulfed in flames?
@@SenterSiPemainUni I imagine if it where 1 singular bot it would have to transform to bot mode to chase you, but if it were multiple I imagine they would be able to bend their chassis into shape to drive
this is a very nice counterpart, i imagine them just driving then when they notice there are autobots/decepticons they start combining and forming their robots. also i find it amusing that the decepticons "decept" autobots. and the fact the decepticons are the rescue vehicles and the autobots are just normal vehicles
@CosmicHase Basically, Metroplex is a transformer who's humanoid, while Trypticon is a transformer who is godzilla-like, and the two are rivals, like Gridlock and Pile-up, whose robot modes kinda correlate to Metroplex and Trypticon. I hope this helped clarify things.
Pile-Up is for sure a great villain to go along with Gridlock. I love the colors and the flames add a lot of detail. I also love the idea of Gridlock being a transforming traffic jam while Pile-Up is a car accident. They suit each other very well!
Pile-up looks awesome! Keep up the work It would be kinda funny and cute if you made mini autobots and Decepticons like what you did with Optimus and Megatron
you know whats fun about this one student scissors made, its the fact that with the wrecked parts on the components, and he said he took inspiration from godzilla, all the flaming bits make pile up look like a reference to thermal godzilla
I audibly gasped when I saw the wreckage turn into a lizard head . I absolutely LOVE Pile-Up's design, and I can imagine it in a movie scene where the protagonists are traveling along some highway (probably in Bumblebee.) And they get stuck in a traffic jam. I Imagine they're trying to get some sort of maguffin away from the bad guys, and Pile-Up, sensing its presence, reveals himself in an epic transformation scene, While the protagonists try to escape, he chases them down the highway until Gridlock transforms to fight him, and they both go toppling over a bridge or something. All that to say that these two transformers you've made really sparked my imagination, and I think they're some of the best concepts and designs you've come up with yet!
You could see the fire pieces on the head as horns, and maybe just imagine the eyes just on the face somewhere, but it does look pretty goofy otherwise
I imagine a group of humans coming across this on the highway, thinking, "now I'm gonna be late," right before Pileup transforms and they realize how dire the sotuation really is.
I love this one! You have grown so much in the last few years. I remember when most of your modes only had partial hip articulation and shoulder movement.
I think it’s an amazing idea I don’t recall a transformer specifically converting into a car wreckage I really love that idea and it makes a great head design very awesome indeed
This build is incredible! It would be so cool to see a MOC city battle between Gridlock and Pile-Up! It’s definitely a though provoking build in terms of how the individual components would exist outside of their alt-modes, particularly the burning wreck! Inspiring stuff!
I love these guys together and I can totally imagine a scene with them! With Pile Up's torso being the container of the semi truck, I image he'd carry his weapons in there, and a lot of them, just for the fun of it, and I can see Gridlock punching a hole in his chest to then grab onto and fire a giant blaster right up into Pile Up's head, and that being the killing blow. Very Michael Bay.
As this was transforming I was hoping it would turn out like ROTF devastator and be more of an animalistic robot mode but I was not expecting fire dinosaur this is awesome
I did this for Gridlock so here are some names for the components of his rival Pile-up Flaming Truck: Car-nage Semi Truck: Gruntwork Fire Engine: Back-up Ambulance: Straggler Left Van: Stranger Right Van: Danger Left Car: Overkill Right Car: Hijack And as for a team name, I like to call these guys the Combusticons
Great design, as always ! For some historical fact, designer Takyo Ejima is generally considered the original creator of light-piped eyes, your orange flame eyes remind me of that
haha yeah the eyes look pretty goofy, i wont lie! i think if they were somehow mounted lower and more to either side of the head it would work a lot better
These combiners are awesome! Gridlock the Traffic Jam Autobot Combiner and Pile-Up the Crash Decepticon Combiner, but how about a scrap heap? Or a railroad consist?
This is definitely a me thing, but I feel like this guy should have some asymmetry since he's quite literally random vehicles cobbled and smashed into each other, as opposed to perfectly happening to have duplicates of the same vehicle.
I had a thought I wanted to tell you about. I saw a truck with a trailer that hauled multiple cars on it. I just wonder what the truck and trailer would look like or how the extra cars could be included in the final transformation.
What pieces would you recommend for MOC builds like this? Also how much do these small figures typically cost you in pieces. Also wanted to say that the idea of a team of mini cars or really one body split into various small bodies is really cool!
the concept of a decepticon being "a living car accident" is somehow one of the best ideas for a decepticon in disguise
A life of agony, no wonder he attacks!
yeah
Dude imagine being a junkyard owner and you see a broken down flaming truck chasing after you
Lol 😂
Actually there's a game for that
@randoburr5201 Name please,

Don't use the f word
mechagodzilla but small

*decieve
@@Saturnlock decept*, decieve is not in the word "decepticons"
@@ecl1pse_um "Decept" is not a word. The word "Decepticons" comes from the word "Deception." Which is "to deceive." Deceive is the correct word.
@@Saturnlock 🤓 its just a comment no need to pull out the encyclopedia or dictionary or thesaurus
@@ecl1pse_um I was trying to kindly correct you. You're the one being an ass about it.
I did not expect a mini-kaiju as its robot mode. Very inspired.
As soon as the twin grey cars became arms, my first reaction was: “Trypticon.”
Yeah, and I guess Gridlock is his Metroplex.
I don't get it
@CosmicHase Basically, Metroplex is a transformer who's humanoid, while Trypticon is a transformer who is godzilla-like, and the two are rivals, like Gridlock and Pile-up, whose robot modes kinda correlate to Metroplex and Trypticon. I hope this helped clarify things.

NO WAY, CROCKER'S UNSUSPECTING VAN!!!
THAT'S A REALLY GREAT CONCEPT! Their forms just carry out the story for them! Really liked how Gridlock and PileUp looked together
I like the fire eyes better as just horns, and then just imagining eye details on his face
The fire as eyes are H A R D.
Nah, they're gas.
i genuanly thought that the dark gray stud on the head was the face, so the fires looked like horns to me, great concept and a fun build
I thought the grey studs were just bits on his face & he didn't have visible eyes, but still had eyes lore-wise. & that the flames were horns, too.
I sonr see the flames as eyes, I see them as part of the flaming spines, and his eyes are juat sort of implied.
5:48 dang gun, amazing job
Reminds me of Godzilla. The fire truck reminds me of inferno, but the white vans is really smart, a good joke too
I love the idea that to transform, these all crash into each other
Pile-up looks awesome! Keep up the work
It would be kinda funny and cute if you made mini autobots and Decepticons like what you did with Optimus and Megatron
Just as I said for gridlock I need this as a full sized commander class
you know whats fun about this one student scissors made, its the fact that with the wrecked parts on the components, and he said he took inspiration from godzilla, all the flaming bits make pile up look like a reference to thermal godzilla
I love how Godzilla-esc this build looks

Now all that’s needed is some accessory vehicles that where mentioned in gridlocks review
You could see the fire pieces on the head as horns, and maybe just imagine the eyes just on the face somewhere, but it does look pretty goofy otherwise
It would be cool if he made one like this with Ocean or air vehicals
I imagine a group of humans coming across this on the highway, thinking, "now I'm gonna be late," right before Pileup transforms and they realize how dire the sotuation really is.
Incredible build! I for one LOVE the robot mode head.
I love this one! You have grown so much in the last few years. I remember when most of your modes only had partial hip articulation and shoulder movement.
These guys are absolutely fantastic!!!
I think it’s an amazing idea I don’t recall a transformer specifically converting into a car wreckage I really love that idea and it makes a great head design very awesome indeed

It’s definitely a though provoking build in terms of how the individual components would exist outside of their alt-modes, particularly the burning wreck!

It's interesting to see an animal like a combiner robot instead of a humanoid one.

damn, this is so cool...great build
Honestly, i thought the ambulance was a police car before he said it
I love the idea of Pile-up being a car accident who turns into a kaiju. I love the pairing of Pile-up & Gridlock.
I can't be the only one who could see Pile-Up working in tandem with the Stunticons, right?
The glowing eyes being made from the round ends of the fire pieces is ABSOLUTELY inspired and amazing.
If you are to ever make a diorama for any of your transformers, it’s gotta be these guys. Super cool!!!
Im SO happy you returned to this scale, i love these mini conbiners. Keep up the great work!
My dog doesn't bite, he's just a silly little guy. Meanwhile the dog
yay, more mini formers
I may have forgotten to ask for it the past couple days, but G1 Devastator shall rise
The fire truck reminds me of inferno, but the white vans oof
This is a very good build
It's like a combination of menesor and Tripticon, great work
Nice work! This is a really cute and clever design! I love the color blocking and the alternate parts for the build!
Awesome little Kaiju! im really liking these micro machine/megazord esce Tfs
That head is BALLER and don' t let anyone tell you otherwise.
This is too awesome and I think has inspired me to get into mini builds
It's a great combiner! looks very cool and creative 🔥
these look absolutely amazing
man, that's awesome, I love it so much.
As this was transforming I was hoping it would turn out like ROTF devastator and be more of an animalistic robot mode but I was not expecting fire dinosaur this is awesome
I named my autobot version Transporter.
Wow, that is awesome!
Really cool concept and build well job😊
Considering mass shifting is a prominent thing in transformers is there really such a thing as "scale inaccuracy?"
oo know this is gonna be an interesting build!
The combined mode was very unexpected!
I think the grey stud working as the mouth fits better as the face instead, with the upper head works as a helmet like a lot of G1 transformers
Your one INCREDIBLE Builder 🥳🥳🥳
Nice work!
Oh boy, what’s next? The highway itself for these two interact on it? What are you gonna name it HighRoad?
Really cool!
THAT'S AWESOME
Loving the mini combinerss

Great Trypticon vibes
Two wide? Now you're just showing off 😂👍
He should be a official lego designer
The nose looks very similar to a steam locomotive, maybe you could make a train team for both factions.
I had a thought I wanted to tell you about. I saw a truck with a trailer that hauled multiple cars on it. I just wonder what the truck and trailer would look like or how the extra cars could be included in the final transformation.
Can you do a LEGO transformer where it’s a car that splits into 2 robots?
Nice transformer
Nice Burning Godzilla mode
He has somenice fire hair
insane
Nice
I don’t see the flames as eyes, I see them as scales or something like that
5:35 reminds me of trypticon ngl
Can you please make a video showing people the different types of transformation techniques you use?
Good toys
OH NO! ITS GOJIRA! RUN!
Nah that boi looks like a transformer godzilla

Not gonna lie I was really hoping you would make the Mac truck one of his fists so he could hit like one.
Absolutely amazing build. Do you have any recommendations for someone who’s trying to start making Lego transformers?
I love duo cons, and I don't know why
You should do this concept but with trains
