Brian is nowhere near 6’9. Thor was measured barefoot and was slightly below 6’8. We know Brian is shorter than Thor and refused to be measured by Erik Kanevsky because he knew he wasn’t close nowhere near that.
Brian is a freak athlete, there's big, a 250lb muscular guy is big, 300lbs very big, 350lbs is extremely rare, 400lbs is an anomaly, and Brian is at basically his most fit and leanest at 400lbs, he walks around comfortably at that weight right now, while he competed at 440lbs. You look at the WWE wrestlers, the giants of the sport and out of the top 3, 2 didn't even make 400. The 3rd is of course Andre the Giant and he's one of a kind who at his largest active HEALTHY weight he was probably 450lbs. Brian carries the weight so well due to high hips, long arms, a barrel chest and huge back, massive forearms and hands..just really great proportions. The other 400lb strongmen, Thor and Tom Stoltman really look heavy and bloated at 400lbs, but Brian doesn't. He's built like a sasquatch. There's strongmen who are stronger than Brian right now but if something has to be moved to save a life or a car needs to be flipped or ripped open, out of all strongmen he is the guy you want. And his grip is stronger than any other strongman. Arm wrestling is still wrestling though. A wrestler destroys any non-wrestler no matter how strong the non-wrestler is. Strength only matters when skill is equally matched. He has to figure out how to use that power and size and also gain that arm strength that only arm wrestlers have and he'll need 2 years. And the thing about Brian is he is physically still very healthy for a retired strongman, with time and resources and a mind that wants to climb the next mountain. So this could be something. Nothing against Eddie though because he has incredible press ability, he's fast, very athletic for his size and has crazy confidence in himself. He might even have more experience and that is important. Hopefully no one gets hurt.
I didn't think about this before but both Brian and Eddie were huge when they won WSM. They pushed themselves to their limits. If Brian did that when he gets closer to the top level, he could be 450lbs if he wanted and even stronger. Crazy!
I Love me some Brian Shaw and think he'll do great. But I've said all along that we should be paying more attention to Eddie also. He's a freak! Is he as big as Brian? No, but he's bigger than almost anyone else on the planet and probably more athletically gifted than Brian. He'd still be great for the sport and great at the sport. It's about him finding what he wants to do. the community showing him some love like they're showing Brian might help convince him.. Personally I'm stoked that two of the guys I was already following is doing something else I was already interested in!

I actually don't think Shaw will ever be as good as Levan. By the time Shaw will be at his prime in armwrestling, I believe Levan will be past his. I do however believe Shaw at some point in time will be able to put on a good match for Levan.

Lmao 😂 Brian's forearms and wrist are nowhere near the size of Levan's, the upper is close. Levan is shorter and more compact compared to Brian. And Levan will destroy Brian in arm wrestling 5 years from now or even 10 years from now. Brian will never challenge Levan....
Just on a human level, your assertion that Brian has to win 6-0 against Eddie to have a chance against Levan, is absolutely ignorant to the point I wonder why I follow this channel. this line of thinking is so backward. Maybe if this is a guy who has been training for years and is ready for his 1st match.. but no, Brian is making his debut into the sport..thus, to me, until he has a few years under his belt, and until he has a real arm wrestling match against a ranked opponent, can we begin to have these kinds of statements make sense. In what world does someone failing at a task the first time they do it mean they have no chance for success in the future? Or worse yet, in what world does someone do well but not excellent and not have a chance for greatness?
i think the first two round will be real fight after that eddie will surely get exausted like he got against neil in recent practice match video on eddie's channel.....

Brian isn't doing anything to the lighter weight junior level athletes let alone elite level, this circus promoted by the village idiot Devon needs to stop now, it was ok for some time because i thought everyone wasn't serious and was bantering and trolling Brian, the sad thing is the casuals are serious about this circus, lets focus back on Levan vs Jerry which is the main match there
I think its good to bring eyes to the sport , and Brian has millions of followers.. Levan vs jerry is lame , it will likley be 6-0 flash pins,, Jerry has tricks but he lacks the raw strength needed.
How is it “a circus”? Are Eddie or Brain being disrespectful to the sport or athletes? They are accomplished professionals in their own sport / discipline. If you really care about AW, you should welcome this. It’s one match, against each other, out of like 12 matches at the event. Difference is, they have millions of fans, lots of relationships with companies / sponsors, and overall will help bring attention, interest, and money to the sport. So that the “true” AWers can actually get paid decent money as other pro athletes do. Not that they’ll be making NBA money, but it’s better than it was 10 years ago by far
Cleve Dean was bigger than Shaw. Cleve was 6'7" and the leanest I saw him was in in the early 1990s at 535 lbs. Cleve's bone structure was just larger. Shaw is a big man but not the largest that ever competed in AW.
Well Levan is closer to the camera in most of the video and at no time did Levan look bigger or equal in size to Brian. Brian is taller, weighs more, and he's more lean than Levan so that makes Brian bigger no doubt about it. Levan is actually the much smaller man naturally. But Levan's BMI is much greater than Brian's. Put them in a strongman and Brian destroys Levan. But in sheer arm wrestling appendage girth and strength there has never been anyone even close to Levan.
If Levan is 6-3, then Brian Shaw is around 6-7. Shaw is definitely not 6-9, that makes a difference. Levan thought Brian would be bigger and taller I'm sure.
Yeah thats the difference between brian and levan/eddie. They're much shorter so they weigh less and dont have as much leverage in an arm wrestling match, where being taller and having bigger hands is an advantage.
Brian is bigger and better than Levan.
Brian can never beat levan
Didn't Brian just loose to Eddie Hall?
Yea but brian is almost only muscle, while Levan has also fat.
Brian 0 zero chance aginst Levan, now and ever
brian wins then auden beats eddie
3 years
Just on a human level, your assertion that Brian has to win 6-0 against Eddie to have a chance against Levan, is absolutely ignorant to the point I wonder why I follow this channel. this line of thinking is so backward.
Even if somehow Brian manages to beat Eddie 6:0, I'm sure none of the rounds will be easy.
i think the first two round will be real fight after that eddie will surely get exausted like he got against neil in recent practice match video on eddie's channel.....
@@EA24MOBILEE Shaw is the heavier guy, surely he'll get exhausted too...
@@ConnoisseurOfExistence but the frame of brian is much better for his body weight in compare to eddie....but i can agree with your point too coz eddie is training for MMA fight but i still believe his arm's can't hand pressure mate coz his bicep hurt when he tries to train them and 6 rounds of continuous arm wrestling i don't think he will be able to handle that pressure in official match for that long.....coz even top arm wrestlers gets exausted in a 6round match....do u agree??
@@EA24MOBILEE So, if even top armwrestlers get exhausted in 6 rounds, imagine what will happen to Brian...
@ConnoisseurOfExistence brother brian is fighting against a 6 week learner Eddie hall who's arm gets exhaust so much faster then any other guys out there....brian will surely get exhausted but not like top arm wrestler who fights someone of there level....brian will be exhausted for sure but not like those top ones coz brian has a easy opponent currently....also i m not underestimating eddie but for now he is not on a level to compete brian and just doin this for brian so that Brian can have a good start in arm wrestling
Shaw strength !
Brian abusing heavy still.. risky
Shaw real height isnt 6'7? same as thor
6'8
Brian isn't doing anything to the lighter weight junior level athletes let alone elite level, this circus promoted by the village idiot Devon needs to stop now, it was ok for some time because i thought everyone wasn't serious and was bantering and trolling Brian, the sad thing is the casuals are serious about this circus, lets focus back on Levan vs Jerry which is the main match there
In 20 years Brian will be ready for Rahul Panicker 👌🏼
The professional Devon haters are losing their minds over Brian just because Devon decided to train him a bit. LOL
Cleve Dean was bigger than Shaw. Cleve was 6'7" and the leanest I saw him was in in the early 1990s at 535 lbs. Cleve's bone structure was just larger. Shaw is a big man but not the largest that ever competed in AW.
no one is saying that he is the largest....but we are just comparing him to levan
@@EA24MOBILEE Ok , I thought he said Brian was the biggest AW ever. Maybe I heard it incorrectly
@@BubbaShaffer its ok bother
All of that to just get beaten by john brzenk
Cleve had bigger hands. But his wrists forearms and biceps aren't anywhere near shaw. Cleve may have had longer arms too but its hard to say.
Well Levan is closer to the camera in most of the video and at no time did Levan look bigger or equal in size to Brian. Brian is taller, weighs more, and he's more lean than Levan so that makes Brian bigger no doubt about it. We seen how much bigger Brian is than Devon and compare that with Devon standing beside Levan also confirms Brian is the much larger monstahhhh lol
@@tallpaulhutchensjr. Brian only looks taller but Levan actually looks thicker. Maybe 40 pounds heavier 👌🏼
What’s hilarious is this like one of the ” smallest ” looks from Brian and he is still like 415-ish😂
@@viktore69 Levan looks thicker 😂
@@Shane_Diesel_2010 No he doesn’t. Are you blind?💀
@@viktore69 Brian doesn’t look that big next to Levan. And you’re forgetting besides Craig Golias, Brian is a master of angling his camera man’s shots. We’ll see when Levan takes off the hoodie 👌🏼
Levan is actually the much smaller man naturally. But Levan's
BMI is much greater than Brian's. Put them in a strongman
and Brian destroys Levan. But in sheer arm wrestling
appendage girth and strength there has never been
anyone even close to Levan.
If Levan is 6-3, then Brian Shaw is around 6-7. Shaw is definitely not 6-9, that makes a difference. Levan thought Brian would be bigger and taller I'm sure.
You forgot Levan is on 50lbs more juice than Brian too
Nope levan has a superior genetics thats all
Brian is 6'8" and always has been stated as such. Always weighs around 190-195kg and at his max was 212kg
Yeah thats the difference between brian and levan/eddie. They're much shorter so they weigh less and dont have as much leverage in an arm wrestling match, where being taller and having bigger hands is an advantage. A normal person's hands only be able to wrap around brian's thumn, while ur wrist would disappear inside his.
Brian is 6 7 but claims 6 8 just like thor claims 6 9 but is 6 8 he is not 6 9 lol
now Hafthor Bjornson has to join the armwrestling, he was the strongest and the biggest from all wsm club.
So now he's 6"9 huh? Tomorrow maybe 6"10🙄 He's honestly around 6"7 that's it
Brian dwarfs Levan. It’s not even close. Lol
