Love me some chatterbait. The roller coaster of emotion at the 3:20 mark is real!! Another solid video. I've caught most of my fish on a bluegill pattern underspin and a Hot Shit Minner on a drop shot.
Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e - put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.
My best spring post spawn baits have been: 1. Thunder Cricket 1/2 oz olive shad 2. 1 oz Hybrid Hunter speed cranked 3. 7.5” swimming worm 4. 10.5” Zoom old monster plum
Thanks for the shout out man. I love watching those older videos. Great day on the bank in this video. Love that Daiwa combo. I've been catching them on a jerk bait so far this year. See you on the next one my friend. ✌🏻😎🎣
April has been a good month for me I’ve taken my 3 baits that I have no confidence in (chatterbait, hollow body frog, & jerkbaits) have gained a lot more confidence in them until I lose them lol. Your videos have helped me a lot and step out of my comfort zone and made me a better angler by watching your videos even the ones in the past.
I love when you hear the splash and look behind you and can't see where it came from. Multiple times this weekend hear the fish couldn't find them. Haha
I laughed when I saw you fumble that fish and then fumble the rod right after. It's always gonna be good when I see you posted a video. I'm ready for the season to be in full swing.
Using a Original Chatterbait in White and CHARTREUSE with a White StrikeKing Swimbait trailer dyed legs with Garlic CHARTREUSE Spike it. Caught 17 Largemouth's in 17 casts. It called a " FLURRY " Lasted about 20 minutes. Then Boom! It was over. A Epic good time. They could not let that Chatterbait alone! I will always have one tied on. Had the Chatterbait on a Quantum ACCURIST baitcaster reel. 30 pound Suffix green moss braid. Berkley Cherrywood HD MH 7' baitcaster rod. $129.00 combo. Great video Debo's! Shawn from Indiana.
Before the mini chatterbaits came around I was buying blades and double split ringing bitsy bug jigs..had to use the 1/4oz size due to the size of the blade, but I could work it really slow rigged with a pit boss Jr trailer
Debo, catch lots of fish and don't lose lures , that's a GREAT DAY! I picked up 2 Mini max chatter baits this winter, can't wait to get them in the water.
Been outfishing my buddies the last couple weeks using a fluke , then last week I got a pack of the Xzone whiplash shad and all I can say is wow , this bait is special
Went fishing yesterday with a very similar chatterbait and soft plastic! Didn't catch anything on that, but caught a couple dinks on the Mr. Ned rig! Yeah Z Man!
#1luv for Debo and spring time bassin, spawn is on. loving those dinks, I get em all the time. Put up a Good lil fight. #Doit booii 👊🎣🎣 1.) Thunderhawk A-1 2.) Chatterbait z-man 3.) Wacky worm
I have a love/hate relationship with chatterbaits. I lost 9 lures last year and five of them were chatterbaits. I bought the mini max over the winter so we'll see. I need to learn the bottoms of my fisheries before I throw it though. I can't afford that kind of loss. Oh, the other four I lost were jigs...go figure.
It is great that it is that time of year to be on the water again up north. They were eaten very well. Between mushroom season and the tranny going out of the truck I haven't got to get out in the last week. But I'll make up for it
Looks like I'm going to have to get me one of those Mini Max Chatterbait to try out. Debo you had that bait doing doing some work for you . Right bait at the right time equals lots of fishing on the hook.
I am liking that Daiwa combo you've got there. This Spring has been a Wacky Worm Spring, but today I did get my first top water frog fish this year in the pads, watch out!
That’s gunna be my next rod is the new xt I have the old and love it so I wanna try the new one but I just got the elite rod and I’m really liking it so far
Man that is such I nice looking Pond and I like overcast days fishing just chilling having a great time just being out. I like that Combo it seems like it casts really well. I caught my largest Bass ever with the little Rattlin Ned on the Drop Shot lol I think it was a fluke but I’m going to try some more.
I honestly been doing well on those micro chatterbaits, I think they’re called the flashback chatterbaits. Been a real good and bad spring. Been slaying on the ultralight setup with micro lures, but absolutely nothing on my heavier rods with my non micro stuff
Mr Mini Debo today! Don’t believe I’ve ever got that many cast out of a chatter bait without losing it. And nice size fish think a couple could of been 3’s. Just picked up some Pline in blue 12 and 15Lb to try out. Thanks for the fine video!
That's a killer day! I've yet to pick up any minimax's but I def wanna try them out. My friend just got interested in bass fishin' so I sent him your channel, told him you were way better at teaching than I am!
Up in east-cental Wisconsin I have been trying new stuff. Got a three pound bass on a savage gear pulse as well as a multiple two pounders. I have been getting a bunch of bass on a Livetarget Bait-Ball as well.
Great video Debo. You were crushing them. I Have been crushing the bass on wacky senkos, finesse war eagle spinners, and finesse swimbaits. I have been wearing out my spinning combos. Great video as always!
That mini max is a great bait paired bbb swimon or yum sonar minnow. Fun downsized way to fish. Wish they made a crosseyez mini because the mini max I lose at least one per outing due to forgotten wood piles
Thankful for all your efforts to provide content as you do! I enjoyed fishing the Jackhammer Chatterbait this year. The ned rig was a fun change up for me this spring as I had not tried it prior and found success in the pond this time. Really enjoy playing with the different bait rigs and techniques as I find time. The type-A in me enjoys active fishing and many of the rugs seem to test the sensitivity and feel that I do not trust in my own abilities. Enjoyed this change-up with the mini max Chatterbait and the homemade flat tail worm that you filmed.
Great advice in there. I def get caught up sticking mostly to a bit if it gets bit a few times early on. Always good o try diff things and switch it up once in a while. I LOVE a good chatterbait bite!! Been a while since I was on one.
love the mini max! want to try it on some river smallies. Ive been catching my fish on 3in swimbaits and squarebills as I fish rivers a lot here in iowa
Always appreciate the on the water videos. Looks like a finesse chatterbait will work well prespawn. Never heard of the chatterbait mini max until now. The outro is always helpful, answers most people's questions. I'm been playing with BFS at my local pond. Caught a bunch of dinks with even smaller lures like a spybait and mini spinner. When the time is right I'm going to fish the ned rig or make a ned jig. 👍
i love my tatula svtw. got it on sale for 165. its the first daiwa ive owned and im fishing it for the first time this season (rest are shimano). believe it or not, i use it as my jig reel on a medium heavy mojo and its been great. caught multiple 3+ lbers and the reel just feels smooth and sturdy. huge fan
Hello, Debo. I also live in Cedar Rapids and while I enjoy your videos I wish you'd comment on where you're fishing any given trip. Might open some new opportunities for me!
I haven’t been out once this year yet 🫤. Maybe the wind will die down enough as we roll into May…. Here’s to hopin’. Glad to see you got some feesh therapy and thanks for fitting this in amongst life.
It may be too late, idk, but I just got in some of the new color yum lizards and plan on trying them out this weekend. I have very little confidence in a lizard but these feel different somehow.
Hey do you ever use a heavy Mono leader when using the Topwater Frog in open water? I saw the amazing Bill Dance doing that when he was fishing the Topwater Frog but I’ve only tried straight Braid
I can just imagine that it must never get old fishing bass infested waters. We don't have that luxury up here in my neck of the woods. For me personally, snagging a TREE is considered a good day.
Love me some chatterbait. The roller coaster of emotion at the 3:20 mark is real!! Another solid video. I've caught most of my fish on a bluegill pattern underspin and a Hot Shit Minner on a drop shot.

I just had all my bass fishing gear stolen from my truck. Watching debo videos to keep me from crying lol. Fish on yall!
April has been a good month for me I’ve taken my 3 baits that I have no confidence in (chatterbait, hollow body frog, & jerkbaits) have gained a lot more confidence in them until I lose them lol. The captions and the censored language is AWESOME!
Tried the mini max today for prespawn. Caught my pb smallie 4lb 10oz.
I love when you hear the splash and look behind you and can't see where it came from. Multiple times this weekend hear the fish couldn't find them. Haha

First! Just saying to myself that i wanted to see another debo video! You slayed them! Nice job!
As your southern neighbor (Missouri), I really take a lot of the advice you hand out man. Appreciate everything you do feeshin friend!
Heck yeah! I'm in my new tackle room and was just looking for something to watch!
Can always count on Debo to keep it real!
I’m in Canada, water temps still in the mid to low 40’s in Lake Ontario. Caught a few bass so far, all on jerkbaits.
That's my go to lure I use during spring. Let's go debo. Love your channel bro 👊
Ned rig! Yeah Z Man!
Someone is having a fun day. Nice job Debo
#1luv for Debo and spring time bassin, spawn is on. loving those dinks, I get em all the time. Put up a Good lil fight. #Doit booii 👊🎣🎣
1.) Thunderhawk A-1
2.) Chatterbait z-man
3.) Wacky worm
What an awesome day of fishing Mr DEBO! No luck on moving baits yet, but I've been catching them on a zoom lizard every time I go out. Tight lines!
Caught a nice Pike today on a dark sleeper swimbait! Fun day!!!
Caught 8 in 45 minutes on a firecraw BPS bladed jig with a crayfish trailer, 2 were 4 pounds rest were 2-3 pounds. Great video!

mini max has been a big fish catcher this spring for me. I usually use a jackhammer but changed it up this year
Man that is such I nice looking Pond and I like overcast days fishing just chilling having a great time just being out. I like that Combo it seems like it casts really well. Great video, don't feel too bad I lose a chatterbait every time I go out, you know cause wood gotta eat too!
We had 2 nice days of 75 to 80 and I hammered em on a lipless and jackhammer, been frigging cold af lately and that ran off.
That's a killer day! I've yet to pick up any minimax's but I def wanna try them out. My friend just got interested in bass fishin' so I sent him your channel, told him you were way better at teaching than I am!

Looks like so many little lake that we fish over here in Pennsylvania.
This week I've been slaying em with a green pumpkin thunder cricket with a June bug 90mm gilly as the trailer!!
That white trailer you have reminds me of the strike King KVD dream shot
You ripped them a new one Debo, great catch.
Great video Debo. Mini-Max was on fire!
Great video Debo. You were crushing them. I Have been crushing the bass on wacky senkos, finesse war eagle spinners, and finesse swimbaits. I have been wearing out my spinning combos. Great video as always!

In east New Mexico and going Bassin on Thursday 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Excited🤤
Been slaying throwing spoons on BFS gear this season
I'm a big fan of the mini-max! Thanks for sharing!

Great video! I always love that you talk about your setups at the end! I’ve learned so much from your content.
The Daiwa tatula Rod looks really good with the reel.
Great fishing day ! Wearing em out !
Nice day 👍
Mini max is great but you are correct the stealth blade is a sleeper.
I’ve skunked all month woke up today thought of chatterbait and caught me a couple adapt and change
Hopefully we get open water this weekend so I can get onto some Walter's and jumbo pike it's been a long long winter
I absolutely love my XT rods, and I've been wanting to replace my Aird X rods (which are good for the price) with XTs. Definitely recommend.
Great advice in there. I def get caught up sticking mostly to a bit if it gets bit a few times early on. Always good o try diff things and switch it up once in a while. I LOVE a good chatterbait bite!! Been a while since I was on one.
Excellent video. Can't wait to get my farming done so I can get back at it. Thanks
love the mini max! want to try it on some river smallies. Ive been catching my fish on 3in swimbaits and squarebills as I fish rivers a lot here in iowa
That Tatula SV is my Favorite reel..
I’m catching fish on the chatterbait this year too. I tied the mini max on a spinning combo for my son and he has some catches on it. Good stuff Debo.
Great to see you want some fish I hope I can get them some fish too. It’s been a pretty slow season for me.
Days like these makes all the skunk days worth it 😂
I've been catching all of my fish on the 6th Sense Provoke jerk bait and 6th Sense Slice blade baits.
Haven't been out yet. Did buy some Mini Max chatterbaits to try out.
Looks like a great day for fishing
Good video Debo, nice amount of bass. Nice combo
On em bro! Good for you! I gotta work that mini max a lil more
Ya frickin hammered em bud!
Always appreciate the on the water videos. Looks like a finesse chatterbait will work well prespawn. Never heard of the chatterbait mini max until now. The outro is always helpful, answers most people's questions.

Great job
Panic setting in. When is he going to re-tie !
Another banger of a video sir.
Enjoyed it Debo! I have had great success with a small chatterbait this spring as well.
I will die on the Mini Max hill. I love that bait.
Debo, great video.
Tried yesterday morning line getting ice on it so called it got to wait a lil longer here in North Dakota
i love my tatula svtw. got it on sale for 165. its the first daiwa ive owned and im fishing it for the first time this season (rest are shimano). believe it or not, i use it as my jig reel on a medium heavy mojo and its been great. caught multiple 3+ lbers and the reel just feels smooth and sturdy. huge fan
That was a great run!! Lately im super lucky catching 1 or 2 😕
Hello, Debo. I also live in Cedar Rapids and while I enjoy your videos I wish you'd comment on where you're fishing any given trip. Might open some new opportunities for me!
Great video good job on the fishing 🎣 awesome
That is one bait I need to pick up is the mini chatterbaits. I have a bunch of 3/8 and 1/2 oz
That’s my favorite chatter bait so far
that one mini max caught more fish in one day than I caught all last year haha
I haven’t been out once this year yet 🫤. Maybe the wind will die down enough as we roll into May…. Here’s to hopin’. Glad to see you got some feesh therapy and thanks for fitting this in amongst life.
Great video
first time bass fishing, haven't caught nothing yet, but hanging in there lol
It may be too late, idk, but I just got in some of the new color yum lizards and plan on trying them out this weekend. I have very little confidence in a lizard but these feel different somehow.
Ay those are all some healthy lookin feeesh!
Whoop whoop!!!!
Hey do you ever use a heavy Mono leader when using the Topwater Frog in open water? I saw the amazing Bill Dance doing that when he was fishing the Topwater Frog but I’ve only tried straight Braid
Been ripping rattle trap through the grass and catching several dinks! Lol
I can just imagine that it must never get old fishing bass infested waters. We don't have that luxury up here in my neck of the woods. For me personally, snagging a TREE is considered a good day.
How warm is the water around where you're at?
I’ve been wanted to try this downsized chatterbait. What weight are you using…1/4 or 3/8?
What water visibility did you have ?
