Watching the Dungeons experience gave me so many happy memories of going to the London one with my siblings. Remember being at the front of the group when entering the Ten Bells pub, decided to take up seat at one of the tables...only to wonder too late why there were only three of them, for a group so big. Lightning flash, and Jack the Ripper's standing over us with a blade. Spoopy times. But, helluva fun!
That's awesome!! I went to Europe with my family back in 1999 (6th grade) and got my dad to take me to the London Dungeons. Very Similar!! Wow, the memories I'm getting after watching this. For your next Euro trip, Make sure to add it to the bucket list, as I have now put the San Francisco Dungeons on Mine.

Seeing this video makes me appretiate Universal Orlando even more! The attention to detail that they put into the Fisherman's Wharf area of the park, when compared to the few shots you got in this video, is just amazing! Everything from the architecture, the boardwalk, signage, building colors and overall atmosphere, were just that good.
100% you need to go back and do Alcatraz! I was 10 when I went, and I remember most of the holiday, but the best part of the whole trip and the thing that I remembered the most, was Alcatraz. Keep trying to get back as an adult so I can appreciate it even more now!

This was great footage of The San Francisco Dungeon! My husband works there so I was hoping to see him in this footage to show our son Daddy at work. No such luck but great video.
They are really fun! You should definitely give one a try! Usually escape rooms have different level rooms depending on the difficulty. Also, they always have a game master that gives clues when needed.
I have done multiple rooms, with different difficulty levels. Haven’t escaped all of them, but they are still fun. The only time I didn’t enjoy it was due to the “game master” as they were rude/condescending, wouldn’t respond to our requests for clues (and this wasn’t them playing a character), and they didn’t give us all the information they should have when we started. But that ones one experience out of many. We also enjoy the at home version, check out Exit the game by Kosmo. They have some fun story lines and are well done.

I remember a show that showed the company that built the San Francisco Dungeon and it has changed a lot since opening day. Especially the dead body on the table not being opened up and having a beating heart gag
That arcade museum was in the princess diaries! Our scaremazes in the UK at Alton Towers are a bit like the dungeons (owned both by merlin) in the sense that there's more interaction between guests and actors as opposed to you just walking passively through scenes getting jump scares. The actors are also allowed to touch you in most of them which sounds horrible but actually adds so much more fun to it and is so reassuring for someone like me who is petrified of walking into set pieces and breaking props when it's just darkness, it's nice that the actors can make sure you're going the right way and it makes the interaction fantastic

The Amsterdam dungeon was awesome bc it was in a old church and they had a mini coaster in it..amazing..mostly about the plague ghosts and Spanish inquisition
I highly recommend going back to the Musée Mécanique. Its one of the world's largest privately owned collection of coin-operated mechanical musical instruments and antique arcade machines in their original working condition. I absolutely loved this museum!!! I could have spent hours inside.

Hey Tim and Jen, the island behind Alcatraz is Angel Island if I remember correct and also you can do tours of the battleship and the submarine. I have been to Alcatraz twice and it was very cool both times.

There was a lot more to the escape room that we didn't show, so it still should be a good challenge for anyone who tries it.
