Wanted to know whether this App got released if yes what is the name of the app. Thanks
Hello
Is there a way to connect an opportunity to the project?
just to have the full flow from lead to opp to quote to order and then create the project. If later extra quotes/orders are necessary can we add them?
thank you!
Hi there! The team behind PMT has set up an email account where you can bring your inquiries to. You can reach them at FinanceTransformationStartsNow@salesforce.com
The "PMT Project Portfolio" analytics app not getting installed on Salesforce Org when we install the PMT package.
Hi, it is located in the Panels section
Is there a Gantt chart view or a Kanban view for this?
Hi there! PMT was updated earlier this year to include Gantt charts. You can learn more by exploring the listing on AppExchange. appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N4V00000Ddt95UAB&tab=d Hope this helps!
If we assign something in the app to someone else in the company it does not appear in their tasks. Am I missing something admin wise for this to happen? Thanks
Hi there! The sharing settings for a project are automatically set to private by default. More info can be found in the Admin guide, under the Resources and Documentation section: appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N4V00000Ddt95UAB&tab=d
What type of profile need to use it? Standard Platform One App User? my company rol is PM
Hi Hector, PMT has three custom permission sets for you to assign to specific users. (PMT Global Admin, PMT Resource Planner, and PMT User.) Each permission set provides access to different elements of the solution according to the user's needs. As a PM, you may find the PMT resource Planner perm most helpful. We hope this answers your question.
I don't see any opportunity for users to track time with this app. Is that correct? If not, what's recommended for time tracking and integration withe Salesforce Labs Project Management Tool?
Hi Nicole, PMT tracks progress through project completion, rather than time. However, users can also see basic project start/end dates on their project summary pages. The Milestones List feature also provides users a quick list of tasks and deadlines. If you feel these are not adequate, we'd be more than happy to pass your feedback along to the builders, and see if they can incorporate time tracking into a future release.
