I never get my Fat quarter shop early, usually about 4-5 days after everybody gets theirs on youtube and I can't help myself because just itching to know what is in the box. Like the fat quarters the best of all the pre-cuts. That is a awesome box, the best I've seen in a long time! Think I'll make that quilt and add some of my halloween fabrics and make a bigger border. I’ve been watching you long enough that I get the sense this is not your favorite box. I could be wrong, but my spidey sense tells me this box is a “no” for you. 😂❤️

I do like it but I am not a huge Halloween person. Debating on making the small quilt or passing it on. I love the shear sheath - I've never seen one of those. I have cats so I don't burn candles. The bobbin holders are different than the ones I have. The fabric with skulls is a no for me but I know my sister loves the cauldrons and cats. It is a bit in the air for me.

@@myhobbyhomelife I could tell. I’m not a big Halloween fan either. I, too, have cats, so candles are a no for me. Halloween does have an ancient Christian connection, as it is All Hallow’s Eve-or the Eve of All Saints Day. People prayed for protection against evil on that night. The skulls are in fact a reminder for us to regard and prepare our souls for death-a momento mori. There is a church in Portugal, the Sedlec Ossuary, that is made up of human bones. Halloween has gone sideways-IMO. I like to think of the Fall Harvest with Thanksgiving being a way to thank God for His bounty-kind of a Christian and secular Festival of Booths.

@@ms.booklover2676Halloween has an an ancient connection, if believe it is All Hallow’s Eve. Halloween is a day of evil (that’s why they won’t even adopt out black cats on this day). This day is celebrated by practicing witches (who believe in the supernatural), which is the opposite of what Christian’s believe.
