Keep up with the good reviews, the honesty really keeps it grounded compared to other (if they even exist in full) reviews on GT7.
The best thing about this car is how the hands and steering wheel take up HALF THE FUCKING FRONT WINDSHIELD.
Cant imagine how that would cause any problems at all while racing.
A series of reviews on all the vision GT cars would be really good
I'll be real with you. GT7 is the game that truly got me into Vision GTs. GT6 felt like the wait was far too long to get any meaningful VGTs between each release, and GT Sport had every one that wasn't designed for racing in Gr.X. Now, they're some of my favourite types of vehicle in the game, especially for grinding. I've come around to love plenty of vehicles including the Alpine, Jaguar Roadster, and even the BMW as I interpret it the same as Maverick as the modern M1.
What I realized when it comes to this game is the VGTs I want to fall in love with are ones that offer great usability while being fun cars to drive. Being imaginative is cool, but it doesn't really mean much to me when use is limited, which is why I never cared about, for example, the Tomahawk X in GT6.
That said, I also expect these cars, especially ones that come well after the program to be established, to still provide fun experiences since the game can do whatever they want with the driving characteristics, which is why I can safely say the Lamborghini V12 VGT is one of the worst cars I've ever driven in the category. For all the reasons mentioned in this review. It sucks because I think Lamborghini is much better represented in this game than all the other Gran Turismo games. The Murcielago feels fantastic, and even the Aventador which I found dull in past games, now feels proper and like an exciting supercar from 2011.
I don't think Lamborghini wanted this car to turn out the way it did. I put all the blame on Audi for insisting it should be 4WD and not be as powerful as it should be. This car as well as the Porsche VGT only hitting 192mph despite having over a thousand horsepower makes me lose hope in future VGTs from newcomers.
Also yeah the Fittipaldi VGT being left out of this game sucks ass.
Wait, they’re not bringing back the Fittipaldi? That car was amazing in gt sport. And I generally don’t have a massive interest in vgt. Well that’s not really true anymore, I actually enjoy the ones that have cockpit views.
I have had this exact driving experience with this car. The developers completely messed it up. The Acc. LSD is way high which gives you the instability on corner entry, and the Dec. LSD is also way high which gives you that understeer on exit. The most frustrating thing is, YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT
For crying out loud it's 4WD, and it's possible to change the torque distribution for more stability, but no. They just had to set it to 30:70 and then completely overcompensate with the LSD, thus ruining the car.

I want to get the Lamborghini VGT as it was the first car on the scapes from the menu book and I've always liked that GT had concept cars which VGTs seem an evolution of just wish they weren't allowed in events with real world cars
I’ve almost bought this several times but never pulled the trigger. What a disappointment and the Jag as well. Saved me 2 million credits though.

I got the Lambo as a roulette prize. De-tuned it to do De la Sarthe. Was ok handling wise, though not sparkling, as you say. I thought the fuel consumption was quite high. Couldn't work out the electric side of the motor though. Do we have access to the battery power?
anyone else notice that when in a race engine sounds can temporarily change? Like more induction noise? Specifically my gr4 M4. Comes in randomly during races and doesn’t last long. Seems to be making more power during this also. But just my opinion. Just haven’t seen any mention of it. Makes me wonder if the cars can “break in” and make more power after a certain amount of miles. That being said my M4 just rolled 1000 miles and I’ve been noticing this for the last couple hundred.
Maybe I was just going nuts at the time, but if you watch the demo for license S-10 and then go to try it.. the engine sounds like it's in a completely different rev-range.
I bought it, tried it once, decided to wait for a set up vid from you to make it decent, or wait till I can sell it back. Love the looks, hate the drive.
One thing that i dont like is the front windscreen of this VGT too narrow, at some point the steering wheels block the view.

I wish, lol. But I have virtually zero expectations of seeing it. GT has shown very little interest in early 2000's LMP900 style machines since GT6

I think their is an issue of handling of some of the VGT cars except the Tomahawk X and ect

If you already a Lambo V12 family fans, you'll definitely love it. Although the design made it feels like a hypercar, it's essentially still the "successor" of Sian, or just a single seated version of Sian
Personally I enjoy the VGT's. Not all are great, but most of them are cool to drive. I enjoyed this more than the AMG, the Audi, the BMW or the Jaguar VGT (the initial version).
i totally agree. i bought this car because i fell in love with its looks. to me, this is one of the most striking cars in the game. but the handling is atrocious. i am certain it is due to the lsd, which we cannot adjust, like most vgt. i have no idea why some vgt have adjustable lsd and others do not. also, the bmw vgt really does feel like low effort.
Wich is the name of the car you mention first that isn't in this Gran Turismo? English isn't my first language but I got that it look like the tumbler from batman, anyone knows the name of the car ?

I found it good against Group 3 AI cars, especially if you shortshift a lot it has good fuel economy while still having good acceleration.
Oops, I love Lamborghini in GT. But after reading your review it will be not in my top for buying the car. When i bought plenty of other cars and don't kniw what to do with the money I earned i could give it a spin. Still got about 300+ cars to collect.😀

I'll be honest, as beautiful and unique as the car is, I was disappointed with how it performs. I thought this car would have the performance of an LM prototype, another awesome addition to the lineup of Gr.1 VGTs, but it ain't the case. Who knows maybe they could make a "Gr.1" variant of the car in the future, I ain't counting on it though.
Lamborghini "says" they are doing a brand new from the ground up V12 platform, but it will probably be another Aventador clone.
Is the Subaru VGT still as terrible in GT7 as it was in GT6? If so then this car is perfectly fine as is.
I bought it the other day and am struggling to keep the thing through corners. For a million credit car it handles very poorly in my opinion.
So, "normal" Lamborghinis are actually more crazy & interesting that this VGT :) I'd rly like to find some love for these VGT cars, but they're either funny or plain boring/generic. Bit like cars for the next-gen GTA made by Polyphony :)

The reason why that the lambo vgt performs like a regular lamborghini is because lamborghini wanted to create a vgt that shows what the design and capabilities of a lamborghini in 50 years would look like, which is why it is classified and a road car and comes with soft tires. But the lamborghini vgt to me is still great in performance and it's handling is amazing since lamborghini super cars do not have great handling.

This car is broken he have 7 gears but you never reach 7th gear and you can't do everything in the settings
GT7 has to be one of the worst handling physics in all GT games, it felt weird when you are counter steering a car, the understeer and oversteer feels awful, GT5, GT6 has the best handling feeling of all types of cars, FF, FR, AWD you can feel each car's handling difference, this cool Lamborghini concept drive like shit when i first drive it, it just doesn't seems right

I dislike them, if there was 3 to 5 of them mehhhh yeah fine, the cars we lost for these pointless (in career mode) concepts is just another thing to add to the list of Kaz's wants rather then the playerbase!
