There was a few things cut out of the manga this episode and slightly changed some things. But overall almost exactly on point. I could be wrong but think in manga it was said the reason gremmy lost was cause he made zaraki stronger by imaging him as this monster. However in the show i think they tried to say oh no that was just kenpachi strength. But the parts that were cut out was the blonde hair guy scared af when he seen the meteor and was like protect his majesty, so the foot soldiers form a wall around him it looked so silly but it was to showcase how big of a meteor that was that even the majesty right hand man kind of freaked out.

Gremmy seemingly couldn't directly effect Kenpachi with his ability, due to the fact that someone of sufficiently higher raw reiatsu can simply negate a hax ability used on them. But, Gremmy did have a firm grasp of the level of power that Kenpachi had shown. The thing that made him lose was, when the power entered his body, he believed it should be impossible for someone to contain that much power in a human like form. And the moment he thought that, his body got destroyed by it. It was literally just a single moment of doubt, at the crucial time, that cause him to self destruct.

Idk about anyone else, but I’ve never seen this fight as “the best one in cour 2”. For me, Rukia vs As Nödt was better, but I do really like this fight. I just felt like it went really fast. It did in the manga too, but idk it’s a weird fight for me. It’s good overall, don’t get me wrong.
How? Choreography wise Rukia's fight consisted of a few dodges, explaining how Sodenoshirayuki worked, losing to The Fear anyway, than 1-shotting As Nodt after Byakuya saved her.

Rukia’s new powers are badass, Byakuya returning to offer the emotional connection and allowing Rukia to finish As with her bankai, the most gorgeous one in the series, it’s all a really potent episode in terms of impact and imagery.

So some rules of gremmys power that they dont explain here or even in the manga well, is he cant directly effect the body of anyone with more reaitsu than him, meaning since kenny has way more than him, he cant just make kenny blow up or turn into cookies, he can only effect the world around kenny, the other issue, is even thoughts that negatively effect him, can come real, every intrusive though he has about losing could also become real

What's your source for the fact that he cannot directly affect the body of anyone with more reaitsu than him ? I can't find anything from the novels or Kulb Outside which states this ?
@@xegin1572 Read manga ffs. He died cause his body can't handle Kenpachi power. Kenpachi can't handle his own power. His body is still weak. Kenpachi bankai broke his body. Also, Aizen said long ago that he can overcome abilities with his SP cause battles between shinigami are battles between their SP. Thats why Soi Fon coudnt kill him with 2 hit kill shikai of hers.
He is Kenpachi because he's the Strongest, or He is the Strongest because he's Kenpachi.

Idk about anyone else, but I’ve never seen this fight as “the best one in cour 2”. For me, Rukia vs As Nödt was better, but I do really like this fight. I just felt like it went really fast. It did in the manga too, but idk it’s a weird fight for me. It’s good overall, don’t get me wrong.
Agreed, Rukia vs As Nodt is my top one so far this cour. Although this fight is a solid #2 from what I’ve seen this cour so far.
How? Choreography wise Rukia's fight consisted of a few dodges, explaining how Sodenoshirayuki worked, losing to The Fear anyway, than 1-shotting As Nodt after Byakuya saved her.
@@Babylauncher3000 you don’t need flashy action movie choreography for a fight to be good. As Nödt’s holy form is the best in the series, imo. Rukia’s new powers are badass, Byakuya returning to offer the emotional connection and allowing Rukia to finish As with her bankai, the most gorgeous one in the series, it’s all a really potent episode in terms of impact and imagery.
@@spiderdude2099 Rukia's fight was absolutely gorgeous and I agree As Nodt does have the best Holy Form; but to me choreography and titanic clashes of power are what define Bleach's greatest battles. Your Ichigo vs Byakuya, Ichigo vs Grimmjow, Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, Yamamoto vs Yhwach.
@@Babylauncher3000 ichigo vs ulquiora was arguably such an amazing fight because of the intense action AND the intense emotional stakes. For me, the emotional stakes are more important by far. I don't honestly find fights like Kenpachi vs Nnoitra to be that good because in a lot of ways, it's just cool guys doing cool things. I need much more than that to be satisfied.

Gremmy's power is broken but he's clearly never been battle tested. Also in the manga, it showed Haswalth looking worried as that meteor was coming down.;
It's stated in CFYOW that in the palace Gremmy was locked up because he was considered too dangerous.
