    Men and Women worked hard back then cut wood by hand big gardens ladies putting up food for winter it was really great days ladies without neck tattoos people used to visit on Sundays Families around kitchen tables . It wasn't all a bed of roses but look at it today !! What a mess! Drugs ,Video games nobody knows anybody . Nice to see these old movies.

      County is 60 from license plates. I don’t remember what county that was. I lived in Butler County #12 and Bremer County #9. When the license plates had the county number on them, you could always tell where people were from.

      Also, “you can always tell the
      Dutch, but you can’t tell them much”. Told to me by a Dutch farmer by Sheldon, Iowa.

    Thank you so much for all the home movies you've posted. They bring back a lot of good memories --especially of all the old timers I knew growing up.
