This episode smacked me upside the head and had me fondly remembering the times I religiously watched and binge-re-watched all of the episodes of "Is It A good Idea To Microwave This?" during the summers. If you wanna do some time-traveling, I would recommend looking it up on YT because it feels like a classic at this point. I just looked it up again and realized the show is nearly old enough to drive.

Just to clarify if anyone is interested; the glass didn't break because of a certain heat, but being heated and cooled numerous times, if it cools too faststress is created which will eventually lead to a crack or break. Take it from a glass blower.

Yeah. I was really confused trying to understand how you “microwave something 100 times” when there is power/heat, time, etc. I figured maybe they cooled them like you said then did it again, but nope. It’s basically just 100+ minutes of microwaving something constantly which would have made way more sense.
