This is amazingly beautiful! What I would do for a whole album of Sea Nymphs covers like this, they were my first introduction to the incredible Dr Timothy Charles Smith. He will be missed dearly but I love that his legacy can live on through things like this ♥️
Thank you Drew! I'd love to do more cover arranged for String Quartet! We used to do this live, acoustic. And Abade too. Have you heard our versions of Gina Lollobrigida and Dirty Boy?
@@sterbus79 yes, I've heard them both. I absolutely love your version of dirty boy especially whatever the wind instrument is on the outro! And the Gina Lollabrigida cover is amazing too, I love they way you pair back such texturally complex tracks, it really makes their beauty shine through. Thank you for all the hard work on these!
Colpito e affondato.

Hello Avant... I've seen in another comment that you were really appreciating our own tunes, I thought you would be happy to know that our new album is out, it's called LET YOUR GARDEN SLEEP IN.... let me know if you dig it! sterbus.bandcamp.com/album/let-your-garden-sleep-in
@@sterbus79 Thank you! I really love your music. I wanted a career in music myself and saw my favorite artists struggling. It warm my heart to see people doing truly creative music. Maybe we'll meet one day. ❤️
@@avantprog6902 Well we're struggling too, in a way :) I wish this was our job, let's it's our big passion. We do it cause we love music and we love making music. What do you play?
Yes! The idea was really to have an arrangement reminding of George Martin works. A bit like She's leaving home too, even if George conducted it but did not write it!
Exquisite on the ear. :)
Thank you! You will hear more REAL strings on the new album mate ;)
Gorgeous
Thank you!

I'd love to read your score for this!
I have my string arrangement in pdf: just the string quartet, no vocal line, no woodwinds.
I can send it, if you want.

Very nice! Abviously visually inspired by the surrealists(Un Chien Andalou).
Yes, Dominique (singer and flute / clarinet player) did the video here. She loves this stuff.
Lovely ❤️
This is a beautiful rendition!
Thanks David! We imagined it for years before we were able to do it for real!
Amazing cover of an incredible song!
Very good Emanuele and Dominique!!!
I am in love. Xxx
Wow!

This is great! And it looks like it was literally filmed 90 years ago

I actually really thought about the arrangement on Eleanor Rigby during the very few seconds of the song! Congratulations guys!
