Dude just Incase you check comments when you get a notification, I just want to say thank you so damn much. I've watched about 4 different guys with all different looking tools or methods but none commentate (or still have it on the video). Your "twist" method is what they never say and where I was constantly getting stuck and very frustrated. You explaining what you're doing as your doing made it so much easier even with my shitty Rawling needle haha
I tried to be as detailed as possible because the twist used to get me all the time when I first started. I don’t know how many times I had to redo a section because it was twisted the wrong way! It’s the details that matter imo

The pinky and the thumb are NOT the same. The pinky has an outer 3 holes and inside the glove 4. I need help because I stupidly un laced my limited edition C.J. Wilson.

OhSoPureHD what I did was just do the top 2 then leave the bottom or just finnes it.

Do you know if Kelley gloves have a unique pattern or, if they follow Rawlings or Wilson ?
How would you do it different if their are 4 holes inside and only 3 on the outside? Would you just stay between the leather or try to get it on top og the padding. 2 of my Rawlings have this. Very thankful for all you have shown us. I have always wanted to know how to lace.
What does the thumb lacing actually do? I mean a web lace is obvious, since it holds the web tight, but is the thumb lace just there so the glove looks better? How about the pinky?
Have you ever relaced the a2000 softball glove with the hidden pinky lace that goes through the fingers? There is no tying the laces on that side. Im assuming it starts inside the pinky but can't figure out how it is done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey DIRTY 30's Leather & Lace i am thinking about swapping webs on a wilson a2000 1786 ss to a Wilson a2000 Dp15 but the 1786 is 11.25 and the Dp15 is 11.5. Can i still swap them?
Yes, you can. And maybe you have a 1788? The is 1786 is 11.5.

You want to lace it through the padding, but not the finger stall. Do not just lace it under the leather. I've see that done a lot and it's just tacky and will warp the leather in that area. This design is to allow extra room in the thumb and/or pinky stall.

Is it okay to use the same size lace on the entire glove?
It is, yes. I wouldn’t try it with 1/4”, but 3/16” is perfectly fine. It’s just more likely to stretch out in the high stress areas than 1/4”.
Thanks again for these great videos, really helpful. I bought a Rico custom glove, horrible and trying to make it right now, as he company won't take it back - live and learn. Where the lacing comes out and ties on back of the iWeb, is off center by a full inch from top to the bottom. Can you let me know where I could find a standard replacement iWeb in blonde?
