I didn’t realize how much the production value has gone up!! I have so many great memories playing Just Dance; I definitely wanna buy 2023 and get back to dancing again!
just dance is such a great series to workout too, I remember the first time I played some of the old ones with my nieces, I was terrible at it at first but got better and it is a lot of fun, even on wii, wii u, or switch (I have no kinect) now I just sort of addicted to the series and wanna get the rest of the games, I got 3,4,2014,15,16,18, need to get the others, to me this is more fun to workout than using a treadmill, ring fit adventure is also a great workout game, and I been playing these games in my 30's!
Honestly I like the old just dance, 2014 was my favorite just dance because of the songs, I stop playing this game when just dance 2020 came out because I guess the songs now to me doesn’t feel right as the og songs took over just dance in the beginning

Giving them distinct facial features ruined it honestly. They looked so much cleaner with just blank faces and still managed to give them so much emotion. And I feel like they lost the purpose of the game which is just doing dance moves. Now the songs have all become music videos with zoomed in shots and weird angles so you can’t really just focus on the dance moves and replicate them. But idk, I never really played the game so it might just be the nostalgia of watching them when I was younger.

just dance started getting worse in 2020, and just went downhill since then. it's so hard to focus on the actual moves in the newer stuff, the background moves around too much and everything is so distracting. it was better when it was simple
