Thank you so much for this tutorial. I only needed up until the checkerboard part, but this was really well explained I think and I got what I wanted from it, so thank you.
Thank you for this .. you were a little quick in some places, thank goodness for the pause button! .. but, excellent tutorial, very easy to follow once the tips could be seen .. you've helped my AE skills grow a little more :)
It looks like he moved the position of the camera to be outside the tunnel. That's why when he plays it back the circle grows larger until it fills the frame.
hey so when you did the fractual noise I understood how to do most of it however it's just trying to have it as an overlay which is bothering me it won't do it in any shape or form it always sits in the background. Can you respond asap I'm trying to get this done for a small after effects portfolio.
hey... sorry for the delay... did you figure it out by now? you need to apply the noise before the cylinder effect, in the first composition. Does that make sense?
tell me more about the problem! COuld be that you need to set your point of interest to a further distance! If your point of interest is only 2meters away, if you zoom beyond that, the camera will just not do that! ;)
Good news: yes it would be possible! Bad news: it would take years, and be very (vveerryy) frustrating! Believe me, there is a reason, why Premiere is a editing software and after the edit is finished you will place the effects! Thats why it is called "After Effects"
excellent tutorial! When I tried the tutorial, the black checkers of the checkerboard were not affected by the fractal noise, Can anyone venture a guess as to why, Great vid, my man, even if I don't get the whole thing, I got a ton of great ideas, thanks
hey! Thanks a lot! Maybe you need to switch the effects, the checkerboard effect needs to sit beneath the vector blur! and you have to increase the amount of the vector blur! by default it does nothing!
interesting but i really do not understand how you created the entrance and the exit of the tunel. On your video (with the planet) we can clearly seen the start and the end are not straight (more like water) with form hummmm
Late answer, but you unzoom the camera at the start to go to the start of the tunnel ^^ And same for the exit, you soom in with the camera position to go to the end of it !
hey, you mean looping the cylinder? Hmmm you could do it on the rotation properties of the cylinder, or if you have a camera in your scene, you could also rotate that! Does that help?
You skip a lot of steps...move to fast and impossible to keep up with...that black area on min 6:24... ABSOLUTELY no idea how you did it and you don't explain it. Still a very good effect after all.
Hey, the black area at 6:24 is actually something that I created... that is just the beginning of the tube (cylinder) itself. So you get that for free! Thanks for the feedback. I ll try to improve on that!!
@@flo.motion you do go fast but thats why you have a pause button, and it is easy enough to go back a few seconds in a vid, i wouldn't worry too much, I am yet to watch a after effects tutorial were I didn't have to pause at some point
what exactly do you mean by "the beginning of the tunnel"? You can already start with the camera inside, or you use a combination of glow and vector blur for it!
You are not only talented, but your voice is pleasant to listen to. Thank you.
I was wondering if you could bend the tunnel, because that would really emphasise the 3D effects of this tunnel.
Great idea... let me think about a way to do that!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I only needed up until the checkerboard part, but this was really well explained I think and I got what I wanted from it, so thank you.
Thanks for sharing, this is great. Also a good effect to add is wiggle (position) to the clips so it gives a good turbulence effect to the camera.

Thank god there is a pause button!! 🙏
im in tears, ty so muuuuuch
I hope it is tears of joy??
Thanks for the vector blur and optics compensation tips man. 🙏🏼
You are welcome!!
This is awesome...Helped alot!!!!
Jeah!! Happy to help!!
Outstanding! Exciting and easy to follow 😊👍
Thanks a lot!!
I didn't quite get how you made that circular overlay. At 6:25. Can you please help me out?
It looks like he moved the position of the camera to be outside the tunnel. That's why when he plays it back the circle grows larger until it fills the frame.
@@AustinThomasFilms thanks
amazing and wonderful

GREAT tutorial! Thanks :-) Have anyone experienced problems with exporting this type for file? Media Encoder just says 'failed'.
hey, what settings are you using for the export?
Thank you very much , you have a lot of talent
Nice tut dude!! But already subbed!! 😅
wow this is great
Thanks!!
Fantastic!
Cool, thanks !
Thank you!!
Why is there a circular mask at 6:31? Following tutorial now
Hey! There is no mask, it is simply the end of the tube / cylinder... does that make sense?? 🤔 😎😎
Thanks so much!!!
TANX!!

Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem I'm having the same issue
hey... sorry for the delay... did you figure it out by now? you need to apply the noise before the cylinder effect, in the first composition. Does that make sense?
I am confused as to how you "clicked the left mouse button" to move through the tunnel? I am using my Mac book (no mouse) and I can't figure it out!!!
around the 2:45-3:00 mark
Go to the camera icon on the top left and click that. Then right click and drag through the tunnel.
there's the alt or option button on the keyboard press it then click on the watch
perfect! thank you!
Thanks!!
My camera is not zooming IN ......Any solution?

Nice video ! I want track music
Music is from the TH-cam library
How did you put this effect in front of the Earth video?
I put it just one layer above the earth video! As simple as that!!
flomotion I tried that but didn’t work at all
What's the width ?

gracias.

is the project finished by now?? would be very curious to see it!!
i can't export it because the resolution is way too high
who says that? What resolution are you working with?
@@flo.motion 1920x16000
The max i can do is 1920x5000 in After effect cc 2020
@@insta_725 you're either exporting the wrong bit, or when you made the main comp you didn't change the resolution, try something like 1980x1080
i want it to be with clips is that possible
