I got this book back in the 1990s while I was attending the Joe Kubert School. I ordered it from Previews, and got the book in at a local comic shop in New Jersey. I paid the original cover price for it, and I still have it today, and it's in one of my studio shelves next to about 8 or 9 other Toth books. I'd never sell or trade it.

That is a fortunate and wise decision all around.

Since I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on this one, I appreciate your detailed critique of the book! Thanks!

I actually thought Tooth was pretty flat when I was a kid, until I became an artist myself.
It's his handle of character, facial, simply put... Work, with out making it too heavy.
Today,I definitely appreciate him, because of his style and approach.
Space Ghost was one of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons, and his Fantastic Four was, well, Fantastic.
I have one of his few pieces of work he did for Marvel back in the day, Written by Stan Lee,just before Roy Thomas took over.
Stan Lee and Alex Toth.. Juggernaut.
