    This is my first time using Intel stock cooler, and I was pushing really hard in one corner because there was no clicky sound. Until I figure it out to try rotate first before push. But looking this mechanism, do you think my cpu will be alright? Because the white plastic prevent the cooler to be pressed too hard to cpu.

    I have a Intel Core 2 Duo (Socket 775). Every time I remove the heat sink and place it back some pins break and have to replace them. When you remove the heat sink it's not possible to fit the pins on their respective holes again because they are bended. Really bad design. I'd like to know if there is a different type of heatsink for this socket, with metal pins or something.

    I literally cannot remove my cpufan from my cpu cause of these pins... now that I separated the cpu and the fan, I need to put new thermal compound, but I can’t

      I tried to unplug those pins and my friend those are the most difficult pins to dismount I just broke the whole fan and bought a new one, a metal one cause plastic sucks

      One pin is stuck and the rest won’t connect properly and if I leave it like that it will dangle and that will Damage the component obviously. Anyone know what to do ?
