CMU's Tartan Racing Boss : Darpa Site Visit June 18, 2007 : Celebrating 10th Anniversary

Boss was put through a challenging site visit by the Darpa Urban Challenge team on June 18, 2007. We were preparing for the official events in October and November that year and needed to prove we were going to be ready.

I remember sitting in intro to BME a day or so after this and overheard someone lament how their friends' colleges were winning football games but ours just won some robotics competition. We may not have had a ton of school spirit, but we did some really impressive stuff. Historic moments like this make me proud to be a CMU alum.
