Just a heads-up for anyone wanting to use this strategy live. Please add Heikin Ashi True Close indicator to the chart, as the entry points shown in this video does not line up with the actual close of the price. Therefore your results will be significally impacted.

Just curious about entering the trade. Do you enter at Market or Limit. Usually Market trades enter you at the Market price which is usually above the price shown on the chart. It seems when I enter with a Market trade, it is always at a High price I am in a loss. Please confirm.

You need to start using the Heikin Ashi True Close indicator to show true candle values.

You don't have to if you got my strategy it prints on chart each price and quantity in contracts (position size/amount your buying or selling) and point where you have to exit trade
It looks promissing, but def not 900% promissing... I dont know of you ever read the comments, but your entry on the heikin ashi is wrong, its at the closing of the candle, the next candle starts halfway the previous candle and jumps straight to the actual price (closing of the candle), smoothing the pricemovement out and thus making it easier for indicators..

I would like to know this too, are we using a ratio of 3 to 1 for the zlma to chart time frame? for instance on the daily time frame, would we use the 3 day time frame on the zlma?
The actual R:R is more like 1:1.3 based on where the trigger candle actually closes (which is different to how it's set up in the video).

I don't recommend heikin ashi for higher timeframes. The difference between real price of the asset and heikin ashi can be significant on higher timeframes and you could risk getting in late.
Question: u make a trade in the trigger candlestick althoug sometimes all conditions are met in last seconds of this candlestick therefore i guess in practise u get a trade on the next candlestick after trigger one. I bet the results will be different. (By the way u did a trade in first example on the next candle after triggered, but all another trades u tested on trigger candle)

Question ... when you modified the 0 lag SMA .. you set the time frame to 15m .. is it because you are on the 5m chart, or you should always set it at 15m ? .. because for example if i want to test this strat on 1h TF should i also put the 0 lagSMA at 15m .. or at something higher than 1h .. like 4h or something .. hope you respond and thanks for the video as always
Yes, you'd have to play around to find the best higher time frame. I would guess that you'd want to start the ZLSMA at 1H for the 15M chart.
Yes U should use higher time frame zlsma always..If u want to trade 1 hour time frame u can use 4H or day zlsma

Try volume spread for vsa. It has amazing results, just follow the yellow or red histogram.

Bro could you test this strategy. Cm-Slingshot system on default settings and the donchian trend ribbon on a period of 15. It works best on the 15 minute timeframe.
When I add the MVI I cant see the lines and I changed all the visibility settings why cant I see it.

Hi man I saw your videos and all are great. However this strategy is totally wrong. Since you used Heikan ashi candels. Their opening and closing price is different with real price which strongly affect on your results. You can backtest again with real prices and see winning rate reduces a lot.

Wow you make a good point actually, never thought of that. You think the results were effected that much? Aren’t heikan ashi candles something along the lines of just averaged candles or something, so wouldn’t it be reasonably similar results?
@@hypemangaming In Heikin Ashi candles the real closing price is not always the middle point of the candle. You can check that with an indicator called: "Real price for heikin ashi charts". So given that, it depends on the time frame, in scalping you have a really small ROM compared to swing trading so if you perform a backtesting with the mistaken prices you will end up with fake promising results. However seems like the guy has realized that people are complaining and he used the previously mentioned indicator in his last back testing of a heikin ashi strategy.

But wen trading live they give many false signals then repaint tose aignals and wen you backtest mos of the bad signals that apera wile live trading disapear!
The HVI indicator don't match most of the candlesticks without the lower wicks while having all of the other conditions being successful and trend on our favor, it matches most of the candlesticks with the unwanted wicks.
Heikin Ashi is not perfect for entry... it's mislead the entry or exit. Would you plz explain the same Strategy with Normal Candle.. Anyway, Good Nice Explain.

Quick question mate, the ZLSMA indicator time frame was changed to 15 is that the default time we should use or does that time frame depends on the candle time we trade on, EG if i trade 5 mins do i change that to 5 mins or we keep that on 15, same questions for 1 hour chart also,,,btw thanks mate, i love your content
Hey, the ZLSMA time frame depends on the candle time. For 1 hour chart you can either use 3 or 4 hour zlsma timeframe

You re using 5 minutes chart, and change the ZLSMA to 15 minutes ?
You should really cut this BS and add additional indicator that shows the real entry/exit prices while using Heikin Ashi candles. This method of taking the middle of the candle or some other random point is extremely misleading. In reality the real price might have been way above or below the points you are showing and it might completely change the results of the strategy.
bruv he has done 1000 of videos and this is the first time he got 900% profit others where like 100% and stuff he doesnt make every video like 100000% profit indicator
@@zmx6802 How is it related to my message? It does not matter what percentage is in this video, the thing is that in every video where he uses Heikin Ashi he does the same misleading stuff. You should take a look how Heikin Ashi candles are calculated and compare it to regular Japanese candles and you will see what I am talking about.
This man is right, u should use japanse candle to calculate strategy, not HA candles. Ha candle only use to see the trend of market, it not show the real price
AAAAND on top of that- he sometimes takes the candle BEFORE the indicator prints and candle close. WOW this guy must know the FUTURE. Trash video I’m surprised he made this. It wont make much difference if your timeframe is below 5 mins and below. The price difference is minimal especially since the ratio is 1:2 . I have tested it, you should as well. Having heiken ashi that makes you enter only when no lower wick gives better confidence vs normal

Serious question. I watch a lot of commenters beat you up over using the middle of Heiken Ashi candles for you entries. Why do you not respond to anyone about this issue?
All it takes is one explanation as to how you are maintaining accurate testing with your Heiken Ashi strategies using the center of these averaged candles for entries.
Or alternatively throwing up a Heiken Ashi True Close indicator on every one of your Heiken Ashi strategy testing videos and using it during each one of your tests for placing your entries at the actual close

I think the videos he made are just for the views, the backtest results of the trading strategy are all fake. He definitely understands the downside of the heiken ashi candlestick trading strategy but many new traders won't understand those disadvantage
@@Cat-su7bm Yes. I have tried many of the strategies on his channel. Most of the strategies are sourced from other strategy developers and sometimes he offers improvements to them. Every strategy he lists must be tweaked to the specific cryptocurrency that you're trading, so I inevitably have to invent a new strategy from the basic framework he lays out.
The biggest benefits of his channel are the indicators he highlights, the efficient and clear manner of his presentation, and the examples of how to put together a new strategy or improve an existing one.
The main things holding him back from being one of the very best indicator-based trading channels on TH-cam is:
A. His incorrect use of Heiken Ashi candles for entry
B. Not ordering his top strategy spreadsheet by how long it took for the PnL increase (In other words, if a strategy increases PnL by 900% but takes 3 months to do so, and another strategy increases PnL by 400% but only takes 7 days to do so, the 400% strategy is a better strategy and should have a higher rank on the spreadsheet)
C: Not acknowledging and then acting upon feedback from the instructive members of his audience when they tell him how to improve his testing

Maybe you could try with something very simple: one alert for ascending over 0 and one alert for descending under 0. That's the most important thing about using this indicator.

Don't, use heikin ashi as price chart and for putting stoploss
I have no issue using Heikin Ashi for entry signals, especially on low time frames, but it doesn't make sense that you'd be able to enter at the midpoint of the trigger candle. If you're waiting to confirm there's no lower wick, you'd have to wait for the next candle to enter. This strategy would probably still work well but not as well as this.
I agree. I always use HA candles, but I overlay them with a line showing real price using the "Compare symbol" feature on TV. For back testing, you really have to do that for it to be in any way accurate.
@@cryptevo3819 There's also an indicator called "Real Price for Heikin Ashi Charts by DreamsDefined" that will plot the real open, close, high and low over your HA chart.
We doesn't know if it works at all because he doesn't show the 100 trades.

Definitely need some patience with this strategy. As I type this three profitable trades in a row we’re not taken because all of the conditions were not met…HVI was not above 100 level.
However, I can see that if the HVI is ignored, the other indicators give good signals.

This is total BS. You can't use heiken ashi this way. Backtest this with a data replay and you'll see that it doesn't work.

problem with this strategy is to find all 3 criterias at the same time. 90 % of the time when AO gives new signal, HA is under 100. If luckily AO and HA allign, then you are supposed to check wicks and zlsma orientation...
That's what I saw. It looses a lot of entries. It's a very slow strategy.

I coded this exact strategy in TradingView (Pine Script) and backtested it (including having entry signals from Heikin Ashi candles, but real (!) prices for trades, unlike the author of the video here) - and it is losing money :/ It seems profitable when backtested on Heikin Ashi prices, which provide non-realistic entry/exits.
Review the binary destroyer
Your Heikin Ashi strategy is flawed as the previous candle midpoint does not represent the actual entry price of the following candle. The spreads are very significant to draw accurate conclusions on the backtest results.

But the indicators only show up when its too late, then you get a poor entry level and on a 5 minute you are more likely to burn through your wallet

I agree with comments below not sure HS trigger is at the right place I would wait for the HS to close and take the trade next candlestick but it doesn't eliminate though your incredible job ! He almost always uses a strict 2% risk per trade, so most of his strategies have leverage already baked in.
