I love patchouli and like my sample of Patchouli Mania so far. I'm really curious about Vanilla Powder too. Sometimes Matiere Premiere can be a bit heavy handed in molecules for my tastes, but I understand that style of perfermy is very popular right now.
I feel you when you said Matiere Premiere can be heavy handed in molecules. It’s like their ingredients are in purest form to me added with molecules to amplify main notes. I love it as a brand though… Patchouli Mania is great and I am not into patchouli but I appreciate how it is done 👌

I picked it up blindly from the brand and I am in heaven! I usually tend to be cautious when it comes to iris as a dominant note in a fragrance but this one is a masterpiece, buttery, elegant, refined and amazing quality! We love so many similar scents that I am shocked 😂 I yet need to try Andrea Mack fragrances. Kisses ❤

Vanilla Powder is a goddamn beast! It stays days on end on clothes. On skin, it would stay even after 2 showers.. it'd be very faint after that, of course. But you can still catch weak whiffs of it.. i sprayed it twice on my shirt. I hang that shirt in my room, and my room smells gorgeous for the next 5 days...

I know it’s nuclear 💣 just like any other Matiere Premiere perfumes. Have you tried Crystal Saffron? It is the strongest I’ve ever tried 🤯

Vanilla Powder is so powerfull, it is overly sweet to my taste. I got bad feeling in my stomach I had to throw our my blotter of this. It was sickly sweet.
Now that you mention about being sickly sweet, it reminded me of the sweetness I felt from Blanche Bete. They are not same but same vibe to me..

I love vanilla-I have hundreds & also love the house of Matiere Premiere but did not care for Vanilla Powder at all.
It’s too dense I think. I appreciate the formulation though.. High quality as usual from Matiere Premiere…
