I using this build, it's really fun to play. The 2 issues I'm having are: 1) Flicker Strike generates lag on the server... you'll be rubberbanding and diying a lot 2) when you change to the duelist starting point on the tree you loss a ton if "% increased life" nodes... I have "+ to life" in every piece of gear except the main weapon and I just have 5k life at lvl 90 But its the most fun build I ever played, period.
I'm confused on the placement of the Fireborn jewel. The video shows to place it in the bottom middle area, next to the Golem's Blood node, but there are barely any Physical Damage nodes there if I follow the exact build, except for the Destroyer node.
Probably one of the most satisfying builds to put together with Scion, I'm not exactly a big fan of evasion only builds, but goddamn if this one didn't surprise me. As long as you keep that potion juice flowing you pretty much can't die. And the clear speed, boy, I recall thinking 3 minutes is a good time for a single map, this monster flies some layouts in under a ONE minute.
oho its nice to see this build back and updated, this was the first build i tried from you when i first started playing POE a couple of years ago (i think it was Alva league), its the build that made me fall in love with all things Flicker Strike
Clear speed is insane! Did struggle leveling from 55-67. Got forced to switching to Flicker early since Cyclone was not able to kill any yellow mobs. Smooth sailing after Oro's though!
for those who have mana problems, you can fix this by 2 simple adds on the build, try to find "non channeling" mod in your rings, and it should be solved, or even more, on your cluster jewell try to add mana leech or, mana regen, that fix it a lot ^^
I built this at the end of the league, and man when it works it works well. My main issue is I play on consol and I can tell you that I desync ALL...THE...TIME. open spaces are fine but flickering around corners usually gets me killed due to this. It looks so much more fun to play on PC
I can also recommend "The Perfect Form" chest piece, free arctic armor with no down side(because you arn't moving while you flicker) is a big layer of defense
yeah but you need to support it with CWDT, otherwise you'll have to cast it constantly... I think the 40% life increase "belly of the beast" is better... unless I'm missing something
Hey man love the build! I have one problem though when im doing lets say the Trials content, whenever im using flicker i would randomly stop even though there are tons of mobs around me. My mana is fine so thats not the problem but was i wondering maybe if you also had this problem and if possible can give me a reason why this is happening and the solution to this problem. For those who flicker once and then out of mana, check if "Spirit Void" node is allocated on your passive tree! It solves the problem even with no mana leech/regen gear.

I did something similar with a slayer in 3.7 I think. was an awesome league starter that cleared all content. If I were to make this build again it'll be as chieftain with the recent changes and the carapace body armor to prevent bleeding, should be awesome
Been playing this build and having a good time with it. Around act 6 I decided to dip into flicker with herald of ice and ice bite multistrike and its been doing pretty well. Also oros has a cold version. Id imagine if you wanted to do cold you could just follow this and start earlier than the fire build? Not sure tho still kinda new to the game.
Why not Wind Dancer in this build i don't understand? Additional layer of defense no? Especially with Kintsugi chest piece, they synergize well, also why not go full phase acrobatics with acrobatics, im confused :P help pls
What do you think about "Doryani's Delusion" and "Yoke of suffering" uniques for this build? With Yoke we can change Skittebots for 20%q Herald of Ash. Did not test it yet, but should increase DPS.

Is % increased elemental damage the same as straight % increased fire damage ? Becuase the jewels that have cremator and doryanis lesson are super expensive. While the jewels with smoking remains and doryanis lesson are relatively cheaper. What is the difference? sorry if its a stupid question its only my second league playing :)
Increased fire damage only increases your fire damage, while elemental damage increases all elemental damage (lightning,fire,cold) there both the same really for this build, because your only going to be doing fire damage. Cremator is pretty nice but isn’t mandatory unless you want to push t16 maps. Hope this helped @Vasich lolcode
I was decided to go for your "Hyper Flicker Strike Build" on the start of this league, but since i've saw this one i've completely changed my mind. They r almost the same, but this look even more cooler :D wish me luck only 5h to go \0/
Flicker Strike is by far my favourite skill to play with in PoE. I just find anything else feels slow once you get used to the zipping around everywhere. Thanks for the modern take on the build.
Hey guys, im lvl 72 now and I deal quite a bit of dmg with this build, but I'm so freaking weak. I can die to almost anything. I get one shot sometimes in only T2 maps, or just lvl 69 Pyramid by random mobs.....What can I do ?
Best way to build defensive layer? I am having trouble staying alive at T13+. I have 4.1k health, 9140 Evasion, 40% chance to evade, 30% chance to dodge, 75/75/75 resist (-60 chaos tho) ... I think i have enough damage with all the cluster jewels, but defense is seriously lacking especially after I got rid of health passive nodes when switching over to cluster jewels.
Tbh i started this season with Essence Drain, Conta + blight, and it looked fun, but well now on a higher maps dmg is really really really bad. Especially on bosses, cause everything have like 100000% chaos res... And this league, compared to harvest, feels so dull and shitty... But maybe this build could be the thing to break that dull mood. Ty for a great looking build.
you need better gear, i dont really have trouble in higher maps with bosses, are all of your gems that give you more dmg for supports for all ur skills Quality up to at least 20? lvl 20/20? quality on gems makes a huge difference in damage output , i just did that today and it made a significant difference. idk how much currency u got saved tho lol

I'm really new and this is a build I've decided to work for. this may be a dumb question but if I'm going for straight fire damage. Some of my items add a little cold or lightning damage. increased fire damage would be worse than increased elemental damage? since you would get a slight increase to cold and lightning if you had any? or does a specific damage type have higher chances for more damage?
Oros has more DMG, dosnt depend on hurting yourself, way cheaper to build, and 100% reliable on frency generation. i play Crit Fliker whit Terminus Est, but oros is way bether tbh

97% According to PoB. I like to use Scion here because, you can start on the Duelist side of the Tree keeping Chieftain's perks. You also get Fortify on hit, Intimidate on hit, Taunt on hit, Cover Enemies in Ash, 40% increased Fire Damage.... It's just too good for Oro's Flicker :D
Hey, currently 92 following ur guide, got the two clusters that give crit, all crit nodes and i'm sitting at 33.65 crit chance with ice golem and precision buffs, is that needed to get more crit like attacks have 1.1 - 1.5 crit chance from hunter influenced body armour or the Kintsugi is really recommended there for more survavibility ? Thx ^^
Quick question. I am lvl 89 now, I just did the switch with the Duelist tree, loosing almost 600hp because of the starting scion nodes for HP. Even with a lot of HP on all my gear I'm only at 4k hp :( its really not a lot.

Why do you grab those "Increased damage on blind enemies" nodes? I havent seen anything else in the build that helps you build besides those nodes

Ground slam is only available for Marauder as level 1, you need to buy it with other charachter who ended Act 5 or buy it on trade website

I think Raider is a straight up better ascendancy for this. Can even play maps where you cant ignite reliably
