3. Increased rate of breathing.
4. Increased elimination through kidneys.
5. Lowering of blood pressure due to decrease in sodium concentration, loss of urea and loss of
other nitrogenous substance.

1_there are local and generalized physiological and therapeutic effects .
Local as increase blood flow and metabolism and rate of healing and increase tissue extensibility and ROM and fluid dynamics and modulate pain and sedative effect and decrease muscle spasm and change muscle strength.
Generalized as : increase pulse rate and breathing rate and generalized skin vasodilation and increase elimination through kidney and decrease B.P due to loss of sodium ions and urea and nitrogenous substances and over sweating
2_ to return to the normal level of blood pressure and avoid fainting .
To avoid the fainting and maintain blood pressure
2. Complete the following sentence:
The patient’s head should be elevated with a pillow during heat application and the patient should remain in position used during the treatment for a few minutes after heat application to ……………….
Normalize blood pressure before rising
normalize blood pressure
To normalize blood pressure before rising
Normalize blood pressure before rising
To avoid the fainting and normalize the blood pressure

1- there are local and
generalized physiological and
therapeutic effects.
2- to return to the normal level of blood pressure and avoid fainting.
2. Enumerate indirect mechanisms of pain control by heat

1-there are local and generalized physiological effects of heat
2-to normalize blood pressure before rising
1. Complete the sentence
Heat is contraindicated in Thrombophlebitis because ……………………………………………………………..
Because the blood flow can move the thrombus to vital organs whuch can cause death or damage to the body
Because it may make the thrombus move to vital organs and make person die
Because thrombs moves to vital organ and cause death
May dislodge thrombus and move to vital organs and make death
Becaus the thrombus can move with the blood stream to Vital organs
Local effects of heat :
Increase blood flow
Increase range of motion
Increase metabolic activity
Effect on muscle strength
Pain control
Sedative effect
General effects:
Increase pulse rate
Increase sweating
Increase breathing
Increase elemination through kidney
Vasodilation
Hypotension

1. Complete the following:
Heat is contraindicated in areas of compromised circulation because ……………………
the body part will gradually increase in temperature, and local heat injury.
the body part will gradually increase in temperature, and can result local heat injurie
Because risk of burn if circulation is inadequate to dissipate heat in tissues
The body can not get lost the heat and my cause faiting and burns
Body part will increase in temperature

Reduction muscle spasm changes in muscle strength
And pain control
Increase fluid dynamics
Increase sweating and pulse rate

To avoid fainting
Reduce muscle spasm - increase blood flow- increase metabolic activity- decrease pain
Local physiological effects
1/heat increase blood flow
2/heat increase metabolic activity and increase tissue healing
3/increase fluid dynamics
4/increase tissue extensibility and ROM
5/rsduce in muscle spasm
6/change in muscle strength
7/pain control
8/sedative effects

To avoid fainting
1:local physiological affect and systemic effect
2:to normalize bood pressure before rising
What is the reason muscle strength increase when we exceed 30 minutes of application ?
Because it gradually recover and then increased to above pretreatment
beyound the30 minutes of tretment for the next 2 hours hte muscles will recover then it will gain strength
Because muscle strength gradually recovers beyond 30 mins. & increase above to pretreatment levels.
@@rorororo8938
لو فرضا عندنا شخص عنده ulcer in the foot
فكدا مينفعش أحطه ال hot pack on the foot
