Oh same, it mills so much, one of my favorite jank lv6 to run in it is the Blastmon from Bt10 to give [On play] Blitz if there are at least 3 sources which they're would mostlikely be with raidenmon

i would switch izzy with st16 matt ishida; synergizes well with analogman, marvin, attack of heavy (even when hit in security). if you have matt with marvin on the field, you essentially start every turn at 5 memory
Any ideas for Raremon substitutions for those who can't dish out almost $200 for a playset? xD

Justimon is crazy right now. Marvin+ st16 Matt starts you with 5 mem, trainings speed it up, and megadramon is just an insane card.
Do you have a list? I’m interested to see how one would build it.
My first deck in digimon was Raidenmon and a list I've got from one of your vids no doubt. It was one with three deck lists for Raiden. I absolutely love this deck and I'm cooking a more, stack focused build, using black SoC card from bt15, mainly megadramon.
This is awesome to see! I miss these kinds of decks, the machine mega zoo style. Pre good chaosdramon I was playing ex-1 machine (20 dollars a piece) as my second deck ever. Might have to play Raidenmon at locals to relive that game experience
I love this list! It's really risky with how much memory you give the opponent, but definitely a gamble that can pay off.
To play expensive cards like 4x Raremon and 2x Alter-B in a jank deck is wild 😂
Apocalymon is pretty fun 1-of level 7 after the banlist. You can evo on top of your raiden and then slot a second raiden in your stack and then slot 3 more level 6s and mill a ton from your opponents deck
One thing you forgot to highlight is that Raidenmon's DP boost lasts until end of opponent's turn, so it's very powerful as a blocker. Deceptively so for a 12k body at base
Raidenmon IS my favorite machine list, but I go for a more conservative/traditional approach. I go with 10 rookies (all hagurus, the haguru x is insane for the deck when we get it)
8 guardamons (the protection from the bt15 guard is great and the on attack from the ex1 guard does come up, though I'm now considering swapping out 2 hagurus and the 4 ex1 guardras for 4 raremons now that I know it's a cyborg)
then 4 of the bt15 megadramon since it places 1 under itself, trashes 1, and has dedigi on attack inherit. And currently I run 2 of the bt11 mamemon, but that gets replaced by the cyberdramon ACE as soon as that comes out.
3 of each of the gate guardians and 3 Raidenmon just because I can't fit more in. Then 3 of each of Supreme connection, attack of the heavy mobile, and defense training. Since I do digivolve consistently, the trainings help a lot, especially for search.
Then 2 Marvin Jackson and 3 kazu shiodas. I like the looting eff on kazu better, but I think you're right that analog youth may be better in that slot.
This way the deck doesn't pass over as much memory while creating massive blocker/reboot, dedigivolving piles that wipe the opponent's board and can even protect itself from sec bones thans to the bt15 guardramon
By swapping in the 4 raremon in place of rookies and Champs, that leaves 2 extra slots for lvl 7s that my version just could not fit at all before, so I'll definitely be trying that out.
Alter-B, UltimateChaosmon, and the BT16 chaosmon with partition black and yellow are all good choices for this deck and should be considered for that slot.
Oh wow that's exactly what I run, down to the Haguru X's and Mamemon. I also run the Matt Ishida that gains you memory every time you discard from hand.

I love this but Raremon is $40 right now so definitely going to need to substitute that

I've been trying to combine Raiden and justimon but maybe I really just need to go all in on Raiden for his own deck. I've been wanting a reason to use canondramon for a while now, was gonna throw together a weird black deck with a bunch of the dumb wacky black cards with on plays we've got past couple sets and in bt16. Just run a word control deck that just makes my opponents life hard lol
