Yes i also agree in the video gurnard is a very nice fish and very expensive gurnard is my fav fish secound is snapper hurnard just hits your mouth on another level

Hi I am also based in AKL. Planning to do a bit of wharf and rock fishing..and may be sometime surf fishing..
Any suggestion with reels and rods ?

Hi Adnan. It depends on the budget. However, I think you need two setups: the 6-7ft rod with 4000 reels; the 13-14ft rod with 10000 or more (depending on the brand, if you use Penn 6000 or 8000 is enough I guess)
