In my 10 year journey of learning about biblical eschatology I’ve listened to hundreds of teachings. The past several years I came to realize this beast will indeed be middle eastern. Been keeping up with Joel Richardson and David Rosenthal for a while now. This teaching may be the best and most biblically sound I’ve heard yet. We as believers need to let go of tradition or what we may have been taught from a western pulpit growing up. Thank you for this teaching and doing your best sticking to what scripture teaches!
Honestly one of the most comprehensive, intelligent teachings of eschatology I’ve seen on TH-cam. Joel and David convinced me about Islamic Antichrist. Very well done!! Thank you. I definitely subscribed and 👍
Definitely alot of deception today. I can't believe what most teach about Daniel 8 and 9. I am still trying to figure Revelation. But it blows my mind how anyone can sit up In a Pulpit and teach what at least 95% of churches teach about Daniel 8 and 9. No way are those two prophecies future like so many churches teach
The people of John's day were very familiar with star signs....like the Bethlehem star. I believe it is more Biblical that John was referring to God's creation in the heavens than Greek gods.
Excellent message... My heart is convinced that everything in Revelation 12 takes place just before or during the second half of the 70th week of Daniel. Here are some key points: 1) The description of "a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems," in Rev 12:3, can only be in reference to end-times beast imagery, not before the birth or ascension of Messiah. 2) I believe verses 7-17 are a recap of the timeline in verses 1-6, with additional details... Therefore, the tail of the dragon sweeping down a third of the stars of heaven and casting them to the earth in Rev 12:4 is synonymous with Satan and his angels cast down to the earth in Rev 12:9. In other words, they are not cast down to the earth twice. I believe the second part of Rev 12:4, "the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it," also indicates that the dragon is indeed on the earth as the woman is about to give birth. 3) Exegetically speaking, the raptured child (teknon) in Rev 12:5b cannot be the ascension of Christ, but rather, the resurrection/rapture of all the saints in salvation history (Hebrews 11:40; 12:23), Amen?
Revelation 12 timeline of events: 1. Michael, the archangel who restrains evil and lawlessness from the people of God, shall arise and defeat Satan in heaven. (Daniel 12:1; 2 Thessalonians 2:7; Revelation 12:7-8] 2. Satan and his angels are cast to the earth. [Revelation 12:4,9] 3. This is when the son of lawlessness commits the abomination of desolation in the power and activity of Satan. [2 Thessalonians 2:4,9] 4. All the saints in salvation history are resurrected/raptured (made perfect together - Hebrews 11:40, 12:23). This includes the "wise virgins" who were ready, and doing the will of the Father at the bridegroom's return. [Revelation 12:5; Matthew 25:1-13; Luke 12:35-48] 5. The foolish virgins, "the rest of her offspring," are overcome by Satan and will sacrifice their lives as martyrs for Christ, their Lord. [Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:13-14]
Dear Pastor David Many good-intention pastors in the USA are so patriotic it has blinded their minds to the truth of Bible prophecy even though they can see how far removed from God America has fallen, has fallen. There are many parallels in Revelation 17 & 18 that lines up with history of America. 1. The USA grew out of a wilderness (17:3) by a God fearing people in search of freedom to worship God by the dictates of their own conscience and not by clergy of the RCC who controlled religious beliefs worldwide at that time. FF With blessing from God America grew into a great country with all manner of merchandise of gold and silver and precious stones and pearls , and “slaves” and “souls of men” (18:12-13). But America has turned away from God and will be destroyed for strong is the LORD that judges wickedness.
This all makes sense/sits well with me. But has me think of course that (practically speaking) in order for this to come to pass as the pastor lays out in this video, big powerful countries like USA, china, Russia would need to be in major decline or totally crippled somehow.
David, I am so glad to hear a prominent preacher finally identify the Fourth Kingdom of Daniel 2, and the Fourth Beast of Daniel 7 as the anti- christ Kingdom. It was never the Roman Empire, that needed to be revived. Neither is it the Islamic Empire. There will be no revival of a past, or ancient Empire. The last Empire at the end of the age is the anti-christ, which will be the embodiment of all the previous empires mentioned. Revelations 13 and 17. A beast with seven heads and ten horns, just like his/it's father the dragon of Revelation 12, who also has seven heads and ten horns. If you notice in Daniel 2,7, 8, and 11 all these visions take you to the Grecian empire and then all of a sudden they jump to the end of the age. In Daniel 8 and 11 they describe the activity of Antiochus in the Seluced empire, which was part of the Grecian empire, and then jumped to describe the activity of the anti-christ at the end of the age. This seems to be a pattern in the visions of Daniel.
The key world kingdom that he's missing, that is both before Rome, and predates the earliest on his list, Egypt, is the Nephilim kingdom, which lasted from the time of Jared until the time of Noah. And just as in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the end of days. Nephilim 2.0
Hello David, I do think the legs are the Roman Empire at the time of our Lord. One more reason for this just struck me. "... shall it break in pieces and bruise." Bruise. As in our Lord's heel being bruised at His crucifixion. Break in pieces possibly referring to the diaspora. I also, while not dogmatic about it in the least, see the iron and clay mixed as the clay being Islamic nations and the iron Rome, by way of the catholic "church." They are currently playing fairly nice with each other. See the common worship or study center in Abu Dhabi shared also with Jews. A pope or other representative of the catholic "church" as the false prophet" Time will tell.
I agree in general that the anti-christ kingdom is depicted in Revelation 17 and Daniel 2 and 7. But John includes the 6th kingdom of Rome and the 7th(Ottoman) before the 8th beast kingdom. I do not see a problem in seeing Rome as the iron that divided into east and west and became a mixture of iron and clay in the Ottoman empire of 10 toes that reconstituted itself as the Anti-Christ empire. There is clearly development in the statue of Daniel 2 from iron legs (Rome) to mixed iron and clay(Ottoman). It provides historical continuity to the present day.
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. {Revelation 17:15} The seven headed beast of Revelation 17: The seven heads are symbolic of seven kingdoms, starting with the beast of Daniel chapter 7 1st --> Babylon 2nd --> Medo-Persia 3rd --> Greece 4th --> Pagan Rome 5th --> Papal Rome; the little horn ("that was" & "is not" & "yet is") 6th --> "one is" ^ The woman that rides the beast is in captivity at the time of John's vision, AFTER receiving the deadly wound from the (atheist) beast from the bottomless pit [Rev 11:7]. This is the beast of THE TIME of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS. (Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.) The 7th --> (The false prophet) "is not yet come" at the time of Johns vision. At the time of John's vision *in the wilderness* this head of the beast was yet to come; this is *the beast from out of the earth* [Rev 13:11]; (And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon. This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him. I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time". The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. {Revelation 17:8} :11...even he is the eighth, AND IS OF THE SEVEN, and ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition. --There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the seven kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed. This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom. This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft. The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound. (When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.) Jesus; (The resurrection; Jn 11:25) Ἰησοῦς/Iēsous = 888 by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration; I(10), E(8), S(200), O(70), U(400), S(200). In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail. The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord. A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God. The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed. The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft. Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other. This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.

Saddest thing about your wonderfully organized presentation is at the end when you say that the Jewish Messiah will reign and then you give him that horrible Greek name. Jesus has such pagan baggage, like Christmas and Easter that there is no way that He will rule from Jerusalem under the name Jesus!
Don't worry, Yeshua is powerful enough to rule the whole world by what name he's known. When he comes it doesn't matter whether Jews or gentiles wish him to be Lord over them or not. Yehovahs will, will be done and All knee shall bow to him.
