Leverage is very good for the health of the game imo. It is both powerful for the killer AND it incentives them to not go back to the hook after an unhook.
I agree! If you play 4v1 like I do its really fun and beneficial. Also its quite effective if you switch into shallow tunneling between 2 survivors since their time gets wasted and undone a lot of the time!
There’s a really fun build I put together for the Unknown that almost turns him into a stealth killer. Hysteria, Alien Instinct, Thanataphobia, and Sloppy Butcher. I love the build variety for the Unknown.
My personal favorite snowball build I’ve been running for months is for legion. Leverage, dying light, thanataphobia, and gift of pain. Run that with filthy blade and iridescent button and things do snowball out of control but in a fun way. Definitely recommend giving it a try

Why do u use legion for a Snowball/Slugger.... like oni is the better Killer and overall the best killer in the game for slugging (He's better then Billy purely because Billy sucks on maps like Midwich, Npd ect)

I did the unthinkleble, and did the math. To heal a teamate it take 16s, or 16chrachegs. Withe levarege, it will take 31s to heal a survivor. Adding mangle into this, it will extend it to35s
i really like the leverage change, a nice well rounded perk now. gift of pain is a great pairing too. i feel like this would work pretty nice on oneshot killers like ghost face so you can maximize gift of pain since it goes away on hit
Just a quick comment. With new Leverage, survivors have their speed reduced 50%, this does not mean is twice as slow, it means they take 50% longer which it translates to 16*1.5 - 24 seconds + 25% of mangled = 24+6 = 30 seconds
Actually it should be twice as slow since its a multiplicative value! Coulrophobia is also multiplicative and it makes the heal also 32 seconds. If it was additive, then you'd be correct but it's not

ok get ready to cringe... Corrective Action was buffed where missed skill checks now become GREAT skill checks. Hyper Focus makes skill checks complete gens quicker at an exponential rate (even stronger with stake out since Stake out has "True Charge" Values that shreds charge speeds on gens no matter the context). This means that you can bring a toolbox to give you spam skill checks and afterwards, you will be at perma 6 Hyperfocus charges that you can just spam MISS which will in return complete gens over twice as fast and nearly FOUR times as fast with a duo or more on a single gen

Actually, there are several positive Survivor perks that stack multiplicatively with each other. If you do the right combination, you can complete a gen in less than 18 seconds.
yep! This is why they should not meddle with values like this. It creates "true penalties" and "true charges" which will eventually create broken synergies that can easily be avoided if they fully stick with Additive=Buffs and Multiplicative= Debuffs

I feel like the Distortion nerf was a little bit much, I think if they kept 2 tokens and made a recharge timer for how long you are chased for it would be fine. This way distortion isn't as easy to have at all times, but also incentivizes the survivor to not hide and rewards them for doing well in chase. Maybe you recharge a token every 20- 30 seconds in chase or something like that to a max of 2

They're louder because in reality there's delay. Survivors right now are further from the killer than it appears to the killer themself, so atm they're able to hit through pallets and stuff on shorter loops much easier than they should. Rip.

@@bazazell i just make up a build on dredge (my main) with ; friend t'll the end / furtive chase / nemesis / grim embrace. It's BROKEN EVERYTHING COMBO TO WELL. Perma aura on the obsession + move speed + no terror radius perma. Grim embrace give you a MASSIVE early game cause of the perma switching survivor + it does not let the other surv work on gens while you are chasing the obsession over and over again that give you a MASSIV start like 4gens left but already 6+ hooks on an already snowball killer with a snowball build. I literaly just did a 4k on the worst map for dredge vs a TTv swift. (it does require a little bit of knowledge on the dredge ofc but it is SO MUCH FUNN)

Interesting math during the intro, didnt know buffs are applicative but debuffs are multiplicative, so you say leverage + mangled are not actually 75% but above 100%, because I am a bit mad too about leverage numbers because it's weaker than "we'll make it" in about 3-4 times, and in dbd hooking someone is harder than unhook someone so it feels unfair
The difference between killer and survivor perks though generally speaking is that killer perks activate normally when doing their main gameplan. Whereas survivors usually have to meet qualifications for theirs. For instance you’re already going to be hooking survivors naturally, but a survivor has to stop their gameplan progression to go for a save. Imo it makes sense that killer perks aren’t 1 to 1 to survivor perks
it's also weirdly complicated as in this is not always the case. Sometimes they throw in additives where multiplicatives should be and vice versa. But in this case, both We'll make it and Leverage are Polar opposites! We'll Make it is 2x speed (8 second heal) and Leverage is 2x Debuff (32 second heal)! Mangled adding 25% is multiplicative with Leverage so it's used after Leverage's 50% value. Example - Leverage makes heal 50% speed, that's 32 seconds, now Mangled happens next, it'll be 25% off of the current penalty which is now 32 seconds. 25% of 32 is 8 so that adds up to 40 seconds of full heal. It can be confusing, hopefully I explained it well

You mention it a little in the video but Nemesis doesn’t seem like a great choice on sadako. I understand wanting the obsession swapping mechanics on it, but because of how she can’t get pallet stunned while demanifested, I feel like you’ll never get value out of the perk.

I don't even know if I want to even touch her tbh. Building up my power just for 5% is wild. The only thing she has going for her is the immediate stealth but since she no longer can aid it with speed and constant tracking, it's terrible

It kinda does since it puts a dilemma into their head. They either risk the quickest option to heal immediately which is very risky. Or they wait out the 30 seconds but it's more slowdown for the killer and could make them vulnerable later on
I hope they find a way to revert the Unknown nerf (like make the tentacle not pop out ao quickly, which also makes placing your things less massively annoying and gross sounding) LOVE new Leverage! Could go farther. I live in Japan now, so i live in a healing meta. This build would be perfect
yep! But that also indirectly makes the slowdown even better since it's overall more time consuming to wait it out. That's the fun part too, they either wait and waste more time or they do the fastest option which is even riskier than before!
Sloppy is a very good alternative! I primarily use gift of pain for the slowdown if they heal and the basically perma anti-heal for awhile of hook. I kinda only use sloppy over gift of pain on killers like dredge and wraith who are hit and run kings

It's just the title that makes no sense next to the Corrective Action buff on the survivor side, Leverage is not even top killer perk with the buffs, meanwhile Hyperfocus Corrective Action is broken (gonna get nerfed, if not then BHVR will slice in half the killer community)

honestly this is needed the game was turning to trash real fast for chase/m1 killers! who can't teleport or end chases fast!, to many people are just healing at the hooks! that is bad gameplay by survivors. and it makes the game cringe and not scary to just heal at the hooks so bvhr did a good one on that for killers. i thought they should of made something like this for killers basekit!, they nerfed killer big time around hooks and gens i find it only fair to punish bad gameplay on survivors who just heal at hooks, it should force survivors to move like 16meters away from hook or something. survivors can still get more healing % on perks compared to killer %. but that doesn't matter cause survivors have a perk that counters reduce healing builds as well by 100%!, its autodidact that one survivor perk alone will beat a killer thats going all 4 anti healing perks. reduce healing doesn't do anything when your just getting chucks of % healing bar instantly and by passing all the reducing healing %. also surivvor can just get resurgance have just have 70% healing done instantly after getting off a hook? this should of never been buffed up i thought the 50% was already insane!, 70% is just absurd and honestly find it a bit op. this is 100% fine since most killer in this game that are lower teir have trouble higher gameplay are actually chase killers! your not going to see nurse or blight with these perks its wasted perk slots, they down survivors fast enough. they changed a while back as well for medkits for surivovrs to heal others faster.
Honestly it makes sense to make unknown slower when charginf up the power, that’s how he should have been from the start so that people dont get used to no slow down. Charging any power in the game requires a slow down.
I get your reasoning, but Unknown needs to hit survivors 3-4 times. Even more against very good survivors. So giving him mobility penalty for a work around, around his limiting hallucination ability placement makes it even more of a reason to not nerf him in the first place

Buffs are also multiplicative. For example with Self Care and Botany you would heal at about 52% (~32 Seconds) Healing speed, not 85% (~19 Seconds).

The thing is I wanna organize a small tournament in my caffe, i've been doing research but Im really not good at this. There is so many perks to consider, especially survivor perks. Could you please make just a Lil bit summary about how the thing works in Europe?
It would be very hard for me to breakdown. However I've heard that Hens333 has an actual very great comp perk bans and synergy bans on his discord!

They're louder because in reality there's delay.
Survivors right now are further from the killer than it appears to the killer themself, so atm they're able to hit through pallets and stuff on shorter loops much easier than they should.

@@bazazell yeah at the end of your games check the menu it might just be me but you can see survivors and the killers ping, average is 100-130ms
don't worry you don't need to justify yourself on why you chosed friend till the end and furtive chase to snowball. Just say that it is the most fun combo of 2 perk as a killer cause it's just true xd
And btw, why did you go with nemesis with friend till the end? i see a lot of ppl running this combo of perk instead of furtive chase but i don't understand why. Does nemeis got a change or something?

@@bazazell i just make up a build on dredge (my main) with ; friend t'll the end / furtive chase / nemesis / grim embrace. It's BROKEN EVERYTHING COMBO TO WELL.
Perma aura on the obsession + move speed + no terror radius perma.
Grim embrace give you a MASSIVE early game cause of the perma switching survivor + it does not let the other surv work on gens while you are chasing the obsession over and over again that give you a MASSIV start like 4gens left but already 6+ hooks on an already snowball killer with a snowball build.
I literaly just did a 4k on the worst map for dredge vs a TTv swift. (it does require a little bit of knowledge on the dredge ofc but it is SO MUCH FUNN)

it's only on pc (steam)! If you have steam, you can right click on the game in your library, go to properties, then betas, and you can select the ptb from there!

Interesting math during the intro, didnt know buffs are applicative but debuffs are multiplicative, so you say leverage + mangled are not actually 75% but above 100%, because I am a bit mad too about leverage numbers because it's weaker than "we'll make it" in about 3-4 times, and in dbd hooking someone is harder than unhook someone so it feels unfair
The difference between killer and survivor perks though generally speaking is that killer perks activate normally when doing their main gameplan. Whereas survivors usually have to meet qualifications for theirs. For instance you’re already going to be hooking survivors naturally, but a survivor has to stop their gameplan progression to go for a save. Imo it makes sense that killer perks aren’t 1 to 1 to survivor perks
it's also weirdly complicated as in this is not always the case. Sometimes they throw in additives where multiplicatives should be and vice versa. But in this case, both We'll make it and Leverage are Polar opposites! We'll Make it is 2x speed (8 second heal) and Leverage is 2x Debuff (32 second heal)! Mangled adding 25% is multiplicative with Leverage so it's used after Leverage's 50% value. Example - Leverage makes heal 50% speed, that's 32 seconds, now Mangled happens next, it'll be 25% off of the current penalty which is now 32 seconds. 25% of 32 is 8 so that adds up to 40 seconds of full heal. It can be confusing, hopefully I explained it well

@@bazazellpretty sure gift of pain gives mangled as well as the 16% speed reduction to healing (as well as repairing) so it’s 16% longer on top of all that

You mention it a little in the video but Nemesis doesn’t seem like a great choice on sadako.
I understand wanting the obsession swapping mechanics on it, but because of how she can’t get pallet stunned while demanifested, I feel like you’ll never get value out of the perk.
@@Noimnotathing nemesis is used for the aura reading and oblivious sneak up when friends til the end switches obsession after every hook

I don't even know if I want to even touch her tbh. Building up my power just for 5% is wild. The only thing she has going for her is the immediate stealth but since she no longer can aid it with speed and constant tracking, it's terrible

It kinda does since it puts a dilemma into their head. They either risk the quickest option to heal immediately which is very risky. Or they wait out the 30 seconds but it's more slowdown for the killer and could make them vulnerable later on

yep! But that also indirectly makes the slowdown even better since it's overall more time consuming to wait it out. That's the fun part too, they either wait and waste more time or they do the fastest option which is even riskier than before!
why not just sloppy? it lasts long enough and you don't have to worry about making a scourge hook.
Sloppy is a very good alternative! I primarily use gift of pain for the slowdown if they heal and the basically perma anti-heal for awhile of hook. I kinda only use sloppy over gift of pain on killers like dredge and wraith who are hit and run kings
'what have they done', have you seen the survivor side? This is the minimum that killers could get after the survivor perk buffs 😂

It's just the title that makes no sense next to the Corrective Action buff on the survivor side, Leverage is not even top killer perk with the buffs, meanwhile Hyperfocus Corrective Action is broken (gonna get nerfed, if not then BHVR will slice in half the killer community)
I complete understand and agree with your point! I also try to make my vids not dwell on the negatives of this game because there are a lot lol! I try my best to be positive and wholesome in the moment if you know what i mean. Like "hey this perk has been changed, imma try to hype it up with fun builds and strats"!

honestly this is needed the game was turning to trash real fast for chase/m1 killers! who can't teleport or end chases fast!, to many people are just healing at the hooks! that is bad gameplay by survivors. and it makes the game cringe and not scary to just heal at the hooks so bvhr did a good one on that for killers. i thought they should of made something like this for killers basekit!, they nerfed killer big time around hooks and gens i find it only fair to punish bad gameplay on survivors who just heal at hooks, it should force survivors to move like 16meters away from hook or something.
survivors can still get more healing % on perks compared to killer %. but that doesn't matter cause survivors have a perk that counters reduce healing builds as well by 100%!, its autodidact that one survivor perk alone will beat a killer thats going all 4 anti healing perks. reduce healing doesn't do anything when your just getting chucks of % healing bar instantly and by passing all the reducing healing %.
also surivvor can just get resurgance have just have 70% healing done instantly after getting off a hook? this should of never been buffed up i thought the 50% was already insane!, 70% is just absurd and honestly find it a bit op.
this is 100% fine since most killer in this game that are lower teir have trouble higher gameplay are actually chase killers! your not going to see nurse or blight with these perks its wasted perk slots, they down survivors fast enough. they changed a while back as well for medkits for surivovrs to heal others faster.

Honestly it makes sense to make unknown slower when charginf up the power, that’s how he should have been from the start so that people dont get used to no slow down. Charging any power in the game requires a slow down.
I get your reasoning, but Unknown needs to hit survivors 3-4 times. Even more against very good survivors. So giving him mobility penalty for a work around, around his limiting hallucination ability placement makes it even more of a reason to not nerf him in the first place
