Ok, but just for letting you know the true story: this song was released posthumously, and it isn’t the original version, search on TH-cam for hearing the original one. They remixed the song after his death, the beat was different. Disrespectful
I remember 12 years ago when i was a kid and discovered this song. I couldn’t understand the lyrics but fell in love with rap. Now I’m 22 and everytime i get back to this song i feel the same vibe. It’s priceless🙏
If you're wondering why people keep mentioning Elton John: The chorus to this song is from a 1971 song by Elton John called Indian sunset. The genius is that both songs are about basically the same thing, and Eminem managed to make them work together beautifully.
If you're wondering, why people wondering why people keep mentioning Elton John: I knew this song back then, but I had no idea about 70s elton john. I thought this part belonged to 2Pac or its band member. I only discovered young elton john last year after watching rocketman movie. for many people like me elton john is unfortunately only known for the songs that mtv has shown. sacrifice, blue eyes, I'm Still Standing

he was amazing. he wrote a lot of his songs just before recording them after finding a beat, I mean we are not talking about songs that fill space on an album, were talking some of his best work, songs that will be played and loved long after we are gone, like hit em up, that was one take he was writing his last verse after hearing how hard the outlaws came with it. He wrote at least part of dear mama while on the shitter, no kidding. And the Makaveli album, come on, sometimes I have to ask myself if he was even human. And if you watch his interviews, its like he matured and evolved each year more than most people do over a decade, soaked up knowledge like a sponge and gave it to us. He would have changed the world, I have no doubt. defiantly changed mine, and still gets me through my worst days. I still listen to him every day, no exception, and will til my last day.
I think every rapper should have storytelling skills. All that shit about parties or bragga stuff is not interesting for me. But the story in song is something that can attract me.
Borsalino Kizaru Bro all this more holy than the river Jordan shit and you go on like that. Has an animal ever looked at you an asked "Am I going to heaven or hell?".

Gone almost 25 years? Doesn't seem that long. A true poet lives on through his work, and that's just what Tupac was and is. If he was still with us, he'd be turning 50 this summer. And the world would surely be a much different place.
He died 5 years before i was born. Ive been listening to him for all those years now. He still makes a difference and has influence on so many people. Someone like pac will never die.
Eminem is the GOAT. I was 8 when his first album came out. i remember watching the "My Name Is" music video when I was at my older brother friend's house. I was too young to understand life and what his lyrics truly meant back then but the beats had me hooked. Ive been a fan ever since. I was proud to know that the Rap God was raised and lives in my state of Michigan. He was my influence and inspiration to chase my dreams. I came from nothing as well. No help. Purely self made. It doesnt matter who you are and where you live. If you have talent and never stop chasing your goals, you can have achieve anything!

Ok, but just for letting you know the true story: this song was released posthumously, and it isn’t the original version, search on TH-cam for hearing the original one. They remixed the song after his death, the beat was different. Disrespectful

If you're wondering why people keep mentioning Elton John:
The chorus to this song is from a 1971 song by Elton John called Indian sunset. The genius is that both songs are about basically the same thing, and Eminem managed to make them work together beautifully.
What did eminem have to do with this song? Real question dude not taking the piss or anything.

Tupac might got killed on the world but not in our hearts. WE LOVE YOU TUPAC💗💗🥹
It’s crazy how talented he was at such a young age! His ability to tell a story and captivate you 🙏🏽 powerful
he was amazing. he wrote a lot of his songs just before recording them after finding a beat, I mean we are not talking about songs that fill space on an album, were talking some of his best work, songs that will be played and loved long after we are gone, like hit em up, that was one take he was writing his last verse after hearing how hard the outlaws came with it.
Yep 😢😢😢

Gone almost 25 years? Doesn't seem that long. A true poet lives on through his work, and that's just what Tupac was and is. If he was still with us, he'd be turning 50 this summer. And the world would surely be a much different place.
He died 5 years before i was born. Ive been listening to him for all those years now. He still makes a difference and has influence on so many people. Someone like pac will never die.

How would it be different? It would still be the same corrupt shit hole it's always been.
Everyone’s a good rapper until they listen to Tupac.
