The last time I was at the Beatrix Potter place was all the way back in 2000. Didn't think it would still be there after all that time. Really nostalgic.
I just found out that Avalanche Tunnel is shown from the video series, On the Rails from the Thomas and Friends official channel 9 years ago and then you made a shot of the station and I slowly recognize the area but with different engines. What a coincidence!
funny you mention Edward, there is actually one K2 preserved in the Netherlands at the spoorwegen museum. it's basically a modified K2 with Dutch specifications.
My father grew up in Liverpool in the 50s and 60s, so he was of the Beatlemania generation. My grandfather had is ashes buried in Woolton church graveyard. Unfortunately, new graves were made, and we think his ashes were exhumed and carted off to who knows where.
I highly reccomend coming to pennsylvania if you want to do an american tour like you did when you went to australia It has strasburg, the Pennsylvania Railroad museum, the national toy train museum, Steamtown, the east broad top, electric city trolley museum, caboose motel, and much more
