Since 1955, the Moomba Parade has captured the hearts and imaginations of Melburnians, bringing to life the vitality and energy of the beloved festival.
The parade features dance troupes and community groups as well as the larger-than-life floats, which were designed by children.

I never knew that these types of parades are being held in Melb, and it's been since 1955? Oh wow! Fascinating indeed. As multi-cultural city Melb is, I am in awe. 😍 This is quite similar also in my home country in provincial festivals catering to different local cultures and communities. I was quite happy to see these, really. The vibe is so light and happy. Uniting communities and diverse cultures in festive mood. A showcase of friendly connectivity. Makes me love Melbourne even more. 💙
