Ended up making this yesterday, I put my phone on top of the stove and replayed it at least 20 times as I was making it, to make sure I was doing it right and didn't miss anything. 👩🍳 The cheese sauce came out PERFECT!!! I flipped to the macaroni and cheese recipe once the cheese sauce was done, and that came out PERFECT too! 🥰😋🤤 People that normally complain about anything that they can complain about, or they'll suggest things to be done next time to make it better, Not one of them said a single word, and EVERYONE got seconds! 🤯😁 BEYOND THANKFUL FOR YOU CHEF JEFF!! This is a very interesting take on a bechamel sauce. I was always taught you build the roux first in the pot with butter and flour, then add the milk and then cheese. This is a very interesting take on it and I can’t wait to try it tonight!!!

So for 7 months now I’ve been so intimidated to do this Mac and Cheese with the sauce, I’m on vacation and decided what the heck, I have a chicken in the fridge in a brine, and did the mac and cheese with sauce today, chicken tomorrow, even though it’s a little too thick, it’s wonderful, a little less roux next time, thanks chef Jeffery, will move on to other dishes you’ve demonstrated.
Just finished making this and added to some broccoli and rice and it's in the oven. I have made this sauce before only to have it break and separate on me.I still have a lot left . Put some in a bowl and added some Hatch chili salsa.Exellent dip!The iron makes a big difference because it retains the heat.

Chef Jeffrey I can remember the first time I made my cheese sauce using the béchamel technique as my base I got it from Emerald cooking show and I presented it to my mother for dinner I cooked and she told me from now I'm in charge of making the macaroni and cheese because you know old school macaroni and cheese which was good she did it a different technique and she used eggs
