I LOVE this topic...Increasingly the odd conditions on even late round picks is just so weird. Like in the heat of negotiations and with an entire franchise to run, who focuses on whether a 7th round pick turns into a 5th if a team sweeps the Cup finals lol?

As a Flames fan, I'm fine with that condition on the Hanifin trade. The 2026 first round pick from Vegas is completely unprotected, even if its the first overall pick. Who knows, Vegas could fall off a cliff in 2026
