    Definitely the most hidden of hidden gems when it comes to Aussie coasters! Lets hope the SBNO clone in Turkey gets a new home someday.

    It's amazing how this ride opened just one year after Motocoaster. While both coasters have similar stats, the trains and layout couldn't be more different, and the reviews each coaster gets really reflects the improvements Intamin made.

      This is miles ahead of Motocoaster, its not even close!

      I was actually at Dreamworld on Sunday and thought I’d give Motocoaster another go after it’s annual maintenance. The amount of time the poor staff have to futz around with the restraints on those terrible trains! After 10 minutes standing in a queue waiting for one train to dispatch and 4 cycles until I could ride, I gave up.
      They need to buy new trains from Intamin to fix the painfully slow loading and boost the launch speed by a few Kph. That would make it a much better ride - still wouldn’t hold a candle to Jet Rescue of course.

      motocoaster? theres one at Darien Lake and it feels more like a carnival ride.

      @@Dilemma009 Different Motocoaster. Talking about the one at Dreamworld which was the prototype Intamin Straddle Coaster. The trains and layout style on that one are very different from all of the other Straddle Coasters Intamin has built since.

    It's a little sad to see that this ride is so overshadow, now that Leviathan has opened. Last time I was there, many people were saying things like "oh that's just a little one, let's not bother with it". I could tell that one of the ride ops really loved this ride, so it was making her upset. She lit up like a light bulb when I came to ride it and a bunch of other people followed suit.

    Never ever put your hands up after that second launch... I busted my back for almost a year on those maverick turns in the back row. But I still absolutely love this ride. The empty plot of land near it getting me hopeful for something!

    This ride absolutely looks amazing. Its like a mini-Juvelen! I really wish more clones of this would appear. Its such a shame the only clone of this so far has been at the failed Wonderland Eurasia/Ankapark in Turkey, where it has sat unused since being built in 2015! It's ridiculous.

    The fact that I've seen Taylor score other rides so much lower, even when they were sort of decent, means that I know this ride earned every single one of those 9 points.

    Intamin straddle coaster at a park called "Sea World" and themed to an ocean jetski rescue. Are we really sure this is not affiliated with an American park chain? It just sounds familiar for some odd reason.

    • @drdewott9154
      @drdewott9154 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its not affiliated with the American parks at all. This park is run by Village Roadshow entertainment. An Australia movie studio that also owns a few theme parks. Along with Sea World they also own Dreamworld and Warner Bros Movie world which are all in the same area.
