Yes.... It may be the first time that a male tiger is taking care of cubs that are hot his own. But it is defintely not true that a male tiger is taking care of the cubs. I have watched a documentary video where in a certain tiger named 'Zaleel' who had two cubs from a different tigeress was raising them, when another tigeress ventured into his territory to mate with him. The tigeress who had given birth to zaleels cubs had died earlier and this new tigeress wanting to mate with Zaleel, entered his territory.
T25 tiger is real hero
Such a rare occurence. Male tigers are prone to killing cubs that are not theirs. This documentary captures things very well. In the jungles of Tadoba, Matkasur, a dominant tiger also manages his battles and conflicts well. We were lucky to film him walking close to our jeep several times. We also had an experience where Chota Matkasur growled at us. We have also filmed Maya in Tadoba as well as Dotty's cubs and the Mahaman Male from Bandhavgarh. Lucky to capture all these in our channel. The point is that it such a beautiful experience to eight a tiger in the wild.
