Emma is one special player both on and off the court. It is doubtful that anyone will repeat her US Open win from qualies to final without dropping a set, but it gives young girls hope that they might. I love that tantalising thought...🤟
Imagine going from 5 people watching you in the first match to the main stage where thousands are watching. Plus people all over the world. Not many players have experience that in the same tournment.
@@sciencekid7565 You do realize your talking about a young girl right . I'm wondering what you Gain with your neg comment ? If Emma only makes it to top 40 for her next 10 years in tennis how is that so terrible..
@@stickitupyourasteric top 60, 70 like Leylah. She won’t be young forever & lie about her injuries & surgeries forever. Anyway, living in your dream. G’ bye
This is what I remember from the later rounds. Many shots landing right near the lines and the corners. And running to net, often taking the ball before it bounced. After the '21 open, Covid . . . I think she just plain had an energy and stamina loss after Covid for a time.
*She did, remember she actually got COVID and was sick for a while. That really messes up her game. She got tired and was easily exhausted after that.* *Who knows how much COVID actually changed her game.*
Amazing that there was no one in the stands to see the start of the most amazing tennis run in history. Schoofs is now famous for being the first player that Emma beat in that run.
That's because spectators were still banned from attending qualifying matches due to Corona virus. The only people watching are officials and support staff
I wonder if she would play just as well if she attended university and play one grand slam once a year and treat tennis like it s extracurricular sports? at least she wouldn't get injured?
@mitsuhh she played tennis as an extracurricular activity after school. now she is ranked 186 because of injury and needed operation on wrist and ankle only at age 20. When was the last time you heard a famous professional tennis player this young to have multiple operations? her body condition is clearly not fit for the ATP tournament.
Women's tennis isn't as gd anymore without Maria Sharapova n Serena Williams. But guess what??! Gd news Emma's back on court after having suffered an injury. We need more players like her else the game becomes so boring it's like watching paint dry. Cmon Emma!! Go 4 Wimby!!! Gd luck x

Her run & that of Fernandez to the final made for an extremely memorable tournament.

Bravo Emma! Hope you come back in shape soon.
What a long journey. So proud of her. Can’t wait till she’s back ❤
Emma on hardcourt is stupendous. When will she return playing like this?
Greatest player of all time when she wants to be
She was tough
Her shots were laser
Hitting lines
She was coming forward
Great serves
She will be back
Emma
Raducanu
More more more I want more of this
Great player👏👏👏👏
Without Covid’s assistance, she is useless
Hope we expect to see high level from Raducanu when she returns!
Yes, her highest level was swallowing a breadstick & then 1st round exit.
Emma on FIRE!
Thank you

Great qualifying now hopefully she will make some noice in the main draw 👀
This all took place almost two years ago…

She made lots of noise when she exited 1st round at USO, wore a baseball cap to hide her face, lol.

She was the third round qualifier. These 1:51 Q games are in order.
That's because US Open qualifying was not open to public that year due to covid restrictions in place.
Schoofs didn't get past the first stage of the qualifiers but she can take heart that she lost to the eventual US champion!

What does Emma miss most about her absence from the tennis courts?
She walks like a cowboy 🤠

Most fake injuries & 1st round exits in the tennis history. Pathetic liar always lied about her injuries when she couldn’t pull off a win.
