Let me know what you thought about my conversation with my pal, Marie Forleo! Did you have any aha moments related to your boundaries? Don't forget to grab the guide I mentioned at the end: boundaryboss.me/marie/ and follow Marie's podcast here: www.marieforleo.com/marietv
Oh yes!!! I have always told my 9 granddaughter's when faced with a challenge. Intuition kicked in, because I don't know how i knew that. Boundaries wasn't a known thing yet. Even when they were babies. I taught them we "figure it out" Currently, they range in ages from 3 to 29, and all I have to say when now, they express feeling challenged, is to say with a smile on my face. "What do we do?" And they will echo back in response.."we figure it out!" IT has served us so well over the last 27 years. They're so wonder full. Thank you
This is one of the best things I’ve ever heard in my life. Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I kept stopping it to take notes. I love this SO MUCH. I want to watch it a million more times. THANK YOU!!
I love you Terri!!! Thank you so much! I didn't know anything whatsoever about boundaries before encountering you and your amazing book. Thank you for all your contributions towards people's inner journeys.
I need this book. I often feel uncomfortable when setting boundaries bc I was not taught I had these rights, growing up I had no boundaries for myself nor did I really see any from the main adults in my life. It has affected my relationships, work, parenting, etc. I am in therapy actively but any additional help is amazing
I am witnessing you with so much compassion, Melissa ❤️ You're not alone. Most of us did not grow up knowing we had the right to set boundaries. You can check your local library to see if they have Boundary Boss!
Terri,I am half way through your BB book and I am blown away here at transferance...ah ha is not the word...I am a 64 year old tough guy ...(Empath lol) You speak too me very clearly as I notice this is female oriented ..but I researched a thousand miles to get here!!! The 3 questions are bouncing reasons from everything I see in my Zen home...maybe I should show some boundaries here but joy has been elusive and you have opened a door.I thank you..I have work too do...the first thing that kicked out was transferance seems to be a childlike defense or why I say this I dont know, language ....INFP sleighride...this language is the same as all the NPD and ASPD females I have unfortunately Loved and us Empaths, anyways as odd as in seems that is the wavelength we have understanding ...and yes my Dad was a NPD my mother who knows she could be a covert she could be a very damaged person.again thank you this looks like my exit from this endless cycling..I lol am taking it
I am witnessing you with compassion, Greg 💕 I'm glad you found your way here if my content is resonating! It's for everyone, not just women, although many of my private therapy clients were women so that's what I have the most experience with. I go into transference more in this video if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/tHYuhxMxR30/w-d-xo.html
You are teaching me so much…and I am learning!!! One thing that has just settle in for me with this video today is that fact that it’s okay to be work in progress. Being a recovering perfectionist as well as a boundary disaster, I had the mind set that it was all or nothing. If I said yes before l, well then it is expected of me to say yes again; therefore I felt stuck. I’m finally getting the course correct part. Just because someone expects it of me does not mean that I have to do it! I can course correct as I’m learning my preference, limits, and deal breakers! It is such a freeing feeling…thank you so so much for the work you do. There is a chic in Kentucky you are helping in leaps and bounds!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this takeaway, Julie, because I am sure you're not the only one who feels this way. ❤️ So many of us feel like when we commit once, we commit for a lifetime. But we definitely have the right to change our minds! We evolve, and some things that worked for us in the past may no longer work for us now. Way to go!!

Former model and agency owner. Burned myself out due to this.
I see you 💕
In the Asian culture I grew up learning that submissiveness is the goal.
Thank you for sharing- the cultural norms we grew up in have such a big impact on us. ❤️
I really needed to hear this today. Thank you ladies. 🤍
