I have the smaller Hamilton Beach TrueAir wall plug-in air purifier in my bathroom, and it seems to work really well. It certainly collects a good amount of dust, and I like that it comes with a night light.

Have you heard about Sharp Air Purifiers? They're heavily marketing their plasmacluster technology and I would be really keen to see a video about it

Are there any true HEPA air purifiers with a permanent filter?

I see there is a carbon filter for odors available - can that carbon filter be used in conjunction with the “heppa” filter on this model?

I haven't tried it, but I think it should fit.

Could you test out the Tredy air purifier? It's the one that looks like Levoit Core 300.

Would you be able to perform a review and particle testing on the Honeywell InSight Series HEPA Air Purifiers next? There are either 3 or 4 models in this series, with the HPA5300 being the largest option (extra large, 500 sq. ft.). This particular model is on sale right now for 45% off at multiple retailers, so I'm really interested in purchasing but would like to see an in-depth review like this first. I can't seem to find any online.

I have a Beach Hamilton True Air Iconic tower model, taller than this one, and they do not make any filters for it now because it is obsolete. I am tired of planned obsoleteness in this society. My filter looks in great condition, and it is functioning, I just need a newer filter. I looked under it's dimensions, and nothing there either, sometimes companies have filters in store or other places will continue selling their generic versions but NO LUCK. I hope that they stop doing this ridiculous thing. It is only adding to the waste and if they are proud of newer technologies, they can attract newer customers and not alientate the older customers. I will never by Hamilton Beach because I will find another brand that has permanent filters. Even knowing they have a permanent filter in it now. It's totally wrong and not "capitalistic" but it's instead, downright selfish. Old folks don't need the "latest" gadgets, they need to run their current gadgets with pride in a good purchase.

Maybe it is not the best, but it is one of the cheapest air purifiers out there.

it looks ugly and doesnt even perform good. feels like the company is just producing minimal effort products that are destined for the landfill. sad

I don't like its design either, and I think they need some refreshments in that field as in some other areas.
