Tbh I wish Ethan and Hila had just stuck to making videos. I’m not saying the podcast doesn’t have its moments but the constant awkwardness, Ethan‘s perception of himself as a moral/political authority, and the unpreparedness/inability to improv which results in Ethan needing to rely on a script and a bunch of TH-cam videos (EZ content) to fill up time just makes it unpleasant to listen to half of the time. The soundboard is dreadfully unfunny as well. Their personalities work a lot better when they aren’t live and can prepare & edit everything, in my opinion.

That AD is designed to be shown is movie theaters! Seriously, that and streaming on the Internuts. It's real long for a TV spot.
Good point, this isn't a tv ad, and it would make sense in a movie theater since it looks like a movie. Okay, in that light it makes so much more sense. The story doesn't have to be related to Subway at all. People in the movie theater will eat up this mini-movie and then when Subway pops up at the end they'll just think "oh, it's an ad" and start paying attention to the next ad or preview.
