I've been lucky enough to be with my husband for the past 10 years. This song touches me when I think about him. Three weeks ago I was told I have Stage 2 Lymphoma. I start chemo on Tuesday (5/24/22) and I have been making a playlist of songs that touch me and mean so much. This is one of them. Thank y'all for your healing gift of music.

I have survived fast growing bone cancer for thirty years. No chemo. No radiation. Only surgery once despite the insistence and many calls from doctors I usually don’t even think about it even though a quick peak in the mirror reminds me why children stare at my scars. This beautiful rendition of this song and your comment reminded me to carry on with joy. Not once ever has anyone who is sick asked me how I survived. I understand why but I will say that I see from your comment you are on the right path. Our minds control the universe within and if we have one day or a lifetime profound gratitude rules. Only then do we know the power within. Thank you for reminding me to live with joy, cultivate love, and give thanks to the pieces of me Mother Earth borrowed to my soul for this journey.
