Hi Joan! My husband bought all three Costco Artskills diamond painting kits for me but I have yet to work on one yet. I did unbox them to see the rendering and noticed all the fun bits that came with it. Recently I finished a cheap square drill canvas with gapping and popping drills. I decided to use the sealant that came with the Artskills to try to save the diamond painting. Yeah the consistency is snot. It is better when the snot is running clear but I did get a thick gloopy spot but half way through working instead of at the beginning like you did. I think it best to perhaps place that thick cloudy pocket off on a spare piece of paper and try to only use the clear running snot glue instead. I was pleasantly surprised that the painting turned out really nice and sparkly. I have been really leery about these sealants because I don't want all the sparkle to diminish from all the work I have done. But this one worked well and I would use it again for popping drills or handled diamond painting objects. Thank you for giving the Costco Artskills diamond painting a go after I suggested it.
I did this very same picture. As a new diamond painter at the time I was excited because it did come with everything you needed. I enjoyed doing mine. Loved the colours in it. The only thing I haven't done was seal the panels. Now that I've seen how you used the sealant I think I'm going to give it a try and hopefully it turns out well.
I agree with the boredom factor, as I mentioned to you before. I also agree that I probably shouldn’t have stopped - I’m on the middle one halfway. Ugh. I also couldn’t use my light pad and some symbols were hard. I will seal them when I’m done - not sure what I’ll use after hearing your review and a couple of the comments people made. It’s getting cold out here!! Yay because I ski and I need it to snow ❄️ soon. ⛷️
I think it came out very nice and I can't see the sealant at all. I always hesitate as well because I don't want my diamonds to lose their sparkle. I think I have a painting very similar to this in my stash. Thank you so much for sharing!

I bought the forest and it came out ok. And I sealed it with the sealer it came with it too. All was ok.
